Imants shockwave is a aerator that slits lines into the ground causing the earth to move and open up. The thing beside it was a Vredo disc seeder, simple disc overseeder. I work with a 3m shockwave and a 2.8m vredo. Good bits of kit.

I work at a Kubota dealer in NC we have a new SCL 1000 for sale right now. We have sold lots of them. I'm one of the techs there and there are actually really good machines.
The blue attachment: In Ottawa, Canada we call it a slicer. The other one we call an overseeder. I don't understand why someone would use a slicer that pushes the ground right back down (roller). Also, why would one use a large drum that would compact soil when overseeding? Soil compaction is what cities/municipalities fight on their sportfields all the time. The slicer shouldn't ever be used on an irrigated field (One wrong move and there's a costly mess). We generally used a slicer on low-grade fields, i.e., ones constructed with 'rocky' soil. Aerators are the preferred equipment. Please sometimes ask about being able to use the field the evening on the day one aerates because of the soil 'turds' everywhere. We followed behind with a machine that had a rotating spindle with 6" rubber coated cable pieces attached, which broke up the 'turds.' On the back of this attachment we had a 'flexible grate' which levelled out the loose soil and stood the grass back up. Integrated turf management specialist.

The blue thing. Could it be for cutting slots in the ground and lifting the grass/soil blocks (for use of a better word) off for replacement lawns. I've seen a similar machine out here in New Zealand. I think the company was called "Ready Lawn." maybe. I just don't know what you call it. Any how neat machinery. One of our customers has a lawn mowing business and contracts to a local council for mowing the small parks and reserves around the city. He bought a Husqvarna commercial mower and loves it. Its the type that has the castor wheels in front of the deck, the large wheels beside you and the motor on the back and you sit in the middle of it. It only has one weakness, the two hubs/spindles that mount on the deck for the blades are cast aluminum and if you hit anything hard with the blades they shatter. We have replaced two of them so far. He was talking of getting them made by an engineer in steel. Weather he did or not i don't know. It has a micro switch under the seat that stops you putting the deck into operation with out someone being on the seat. I don't know weather that was put on or is standard. As soon as the weight comes off the seat it stop power to the deck.
It's not like it only cost them a hundred bucks to make, and then they're selling them for 30 grand. So technically, it cost a ridiculous amount to make this equipment.
