Hi Lewis, thanks for your videos!! They are really helpful. When I search for mental health, it's easy to find a lot of "noise information" full of motivational videos. The content that you provide is much better and practical and really useful for daily life. Thank you again.

Your videos are very helpful! I'm in an MSW program and your videos are a great length, to the point and clear, digestible, and very informative! It helps summarize and draw my attention to key points of what I am learning. Do you offer CEUs or trainings?

This application of the Socratic Method is essentially Neuro-Linguistic Programming in practice.
Of course, NLP, is widely considered pseudoscience because of the abstract nature of conceptual paradigms. However, the dynamics of language and thought are arguably fundamental elements of one’s subjective perceptions.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is influenced by several psychological models, including Stoicism, Gestalt therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). From Stoicism, NLP adopts the focus on controlling perceptions and emotions through reframing and rational thinking. Gestalt therapy’s emphasis on holistic awareness and present-moment focus is mirrored in NLP’s attention to body language and sensory acuity. CBT’s influence is seen in NLP’s approach to challenging cognitive distortions and modifying behaviors through techniques like anchoring and pattern recognition. Additionally, NLP incorporates ideas from constructivist psychology, psychoanalysis, and humanistic psychology, emphasizing subjective reality, unconscious processes, and personal empowerment.
