Dynasty drums are the best drums I have EVER used I swear. I’m personally not a big fan of the DFX snares but the DFZ Custom Elite ones like they use are my favorite. I’m personally not crazy about like “Yamaha” or some of the others. The only thing about dynasty drums that is kinda “iffy” is they feel just a little heavier but for the quality, I don’t really care.
@@landontripp1480 I kinda miss my dfz I was never a huge fan of Yamaha either pearl different story. I've been thinking about getting rid of my dfx and replacing it for a dfz.
@@jeromieb038 So fun fact I’ve seen your videos on your channel and thought the dfz you had was pretty cool. I personally want to get get my own but Pearl seems like a good brand because there drums seem really similar to dynasty but that’s just me. Ik a lot of people don’t like the T-Max carriers for dynasty because of how thick they are but I personally like them better than the Randall May harnesses because after using Yamaha for a while, you will start to miss dynasty I swear. DFX snares aren’t bad either but I prefer the DFZ ones.

Drum Corps.
It is quite frustrating. haha It sounds great, but even just that millisecond off makes it look like the video and audio are one. I think the only bad part was for like the first minute and a half though.
Santa Clara, Carolina Crown, Phantom, and BD really has some great lines this year!

Sergio Bravo I think it's just sheer time. Like I'm a decent snare drum player but I can guarantee that if I spent the crazy amount of time these guys did rehearsing I could fit right in. I'm not trying to say this isn't impressive and that these guys don't have skills, because it is and they do, but they spend soooooo much time on this music it would be amazing if it were bad

Let's not forget though that the percussion score includes the front ensemble as well.
Snare sticks are innovative percussion FS-PR's and the batter head is a Remo BlackMax. I'm not sure what their side heads are, but most likely they're a remo Falams. Either way don't quote me on the side head.
You do realize what their show was about right? Dada? The book fit the music pretty darn good. And they were, at the very least, as clean or cleaner than Vanguard finals week.
Audio is great. You'd think for the production quality that you were going for the video and audio would be at least close to being sync'd. If the audio is the quadline playing an exercise on drum two, you'd think the video wouldn't be them playing the exercise around the drums. Just saying. In the end, who cares. Great video

Maybe it's just me but that long roll sounds pretty darn clean. However I heard slightly fuzzy bits in both videos.

You are correct. This mistake, the intentional shaky cam, and the obvious audio lagging behind the video are all evidence this filmmaker is not a drummer.

Thats cause they are, mostly 18-21 or so, the age out is at 21 so yea none will look old at all
audio/video not synced, and audio is really low. Also you can stop down a bit when recording video with a dslr

Are you serious Bd had a way harder book and on finals night was outright cleaner with everything SCV got 5th just because you did not like the show does not mean that they were bad honestly this year SCV didn't have anything that caught the judges eye Rennick did not live up to expectations this year.
