To turn voice off, go to set up (tab near heater control) scroll down to voice and turn off auto navigation, voice guidance etc

Parents upgraded from a single cab 70 v8 to a GX 300 as the tow rig. They were apprehensive until they towed their caravan for a few thousand kms. No comparison for comfort or power. Great watch as usual. Cheers

If the head unit is anything like the rav4 you can pick and choose which alerts the maps give you in the head unit settings. It’s been a while but I’m sure I have done it.

Nice vehicle
With the fuel capacity, there are a couple of aftermarket options to replace the factory 30l sub tank with a bigger tank around 75litres without the need to shift the spare.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but in the user manual for all diesel Toyota vehicles does it not say to not tow anything under 1000 km as this is the breaking period for the engine? I know this is the fact for 200 series and 150 series Landcruiser owning both

Nah they said tow straight away at my dealer, nothing super heavy though but I didnt tow Bullet till I was over 800kms which is what book says..

These lane assist features seem so annoying.
What size tyre does this run? Can it legally run 35s? How high is the vehicle from factory? I do wonder how the fuel economy will be once its lifted with 35s MTs and barwork.

No the 35s won't go under without lift and a different rim, and yes it will throw fuel consumption right out the window I suspect..

When doing dpf burn, hit the top left button on left side of steering wheel to return back to main screen.
In the left cup holder should be an extra lift out base that slots in the right cup holder to give you half height.
