Tech Steve you are the king ! Honest , right to the point and easy to comprehend. I was a seasonal tv salesman last year for the bf- Christmas period. I watched your videos to get the knowledge I needed to sell tvs . Very useful. You should get to make training videos for the retail shops' staff . Greetings from Athens Greece !!!
I bought this one as a Christmas gift after seeing the display at Best Buy. It actually had far better viewing angles than I expected. I agree that I do wish it was a bit brighter, but it's still a very colorful TV and offers a lot for the price. Even the glare wasn't as bad as others. There was a Samsung DU6900 on sale next to it, and it was brighter, but for me the picture didn't stand out as much as the A7N did and the glare was much worse. The A7N is looking like a really solid pickup.
Great to see another thorough review of a value TV model that mostly doesnt get covered (I see only 1 other review on RUclips). How Hisense can sell at these prices, i have no idea.
I found this model on Amazon, and thought my sister would love this TV. Especially her football. As this will be going out in her living room on the Hopper 3. Which means, if the Super Bowl will be on one of the 4k HDR channels, which are 540-01-540-03, if I recall the channel numbers correctly, it would probably be an amazing experience for her. Obviously this TV won’t be competition to my TV, as I have a 65” LG C2 OLED, but I’m not buying for myself. I’m buying for my sister, who’s not as picky about PQ. I myself am a former Plasma owner, had an LG 60PV250 from Rent-A-Center, so for my own screens I go OLED these days. Same with my PC monitor. I plan to get MSI’s new 34” 3440x1440@240Hz QD-OLED. It’s even better than last years, which topped out at 175Hz at the same resolution.
I got this TV back in October so I been using it for a little while. I mainly use it as a PC monitor. I really like it and my PC games look fantastic. I have Nvidia GTX 4060 video card so some of my color and picture settings are set in Nvidia Control Panel. I use native resolution and game picture mode. My biggest compliant is the glare from light sources like Steve covered so you want to use it in a darker room. For the money I think its a great TV.
European version A7NQ has differen stand and it's advertized as QLED, But 43" size cost 410 euros or 450$. I chek your prices at BBuy and i see that you can buy 75" size for that kind of money in USA. Cheapest 43" size european model in 4K resolution is A6NQ for $300.
Hi. I got this tv. I love it for my budget and it's 43" seems like a 50 on my fireplace. Enjoyed more insights and I subscribed your at 199 k so I'm not sure how many left till 200 k. Thank you Steve. Happy holidays.
Awesome. Again. You ROCK Steve. I am so close, but now they're complicating things with the QD5. Minimal info about it...has the GoogleTV unlike QD6 with FireTV built in. Also adds QLED but trades a few tech features. Looking to go 43" and use heavily as productivity computer monitor, and some for video consumption... Any thoughts? And looking at the calendar - in 6 weeks everyone will be out west for CES, and hopefully a new round of great choices to consider. Happy Holidays.
great tv for the price but what’s crazy is that the QD5 43 inch is better and it’s even cheaper than the n7a right now. i’ve had it for about a week already and it’s great. upgraded from an old 2015 entry level samsung 4k tv and it blows it out of the water. honestly, it might be the perfect cheap tv right now.
Odd I got the 50” 2 weeks ago I only have theater, no night or day. Warm 2 is a little blue, warm 1 to red… you defiantly got a betttrr panel… I have some prettt good clouding and blotches, but it doesn’t come out with regular regular content…’bottom left corner of mine had some bad light bleed, I was going to return it but somehow it just went away on its own.
Great Review. I purchased this tv on Veterans Day for $269 at target. Fast forward to Black Friday the price dropped by $30. I got my credit from target. Image quality is better than expected. PS5 looks amazing. Do you suggest a soundbar for hisenseA7? Thank you

I have this sort of this hisense tv (E7N to be exactly) based on my experience it's totally disaster at back panel connection especially when you mount on wall or stand. Because it's hard to connect HDMI, AC and USB input connector especially you use heavy duty mount which has thick frame adapter and less gap. I have to remount back just to connect back AC input. Why they cut cost like that to make back panel input so small to center? Why not making longer for easy access? It's unconvenient, not practical and not ergonomic. I hope you can review size back panel length input between mount.

They are moving volume to get that name out there plus they may be expecting tariffs increases soon. Take advantage of these deals while you can.
Yeah when i got mine i could hardly fine any reviews of it but took a chance as i did not care for what else was offered at the same price point.
They must be selling these units at cost.
I was quite honestly blown away by how saturated the colors were when I looked at in Best Buy.
Thanks for the review and testing the 120hz mode
