Noah is an Indonesian rock music group formed in 2000 in Bandung, West Java. This music group was formed under the name Peterpan by Ariel, Andika, Indra, Lukman, Reza and Uki. Their music is generally in the alternative rock and pop rock genre, most of the songs are written by the vocalist, Ariel.
The song "Kota Mati" ("Ghost Town") was originally released in 2007 when NOAH was still called Peterpan. Then Ariel and his friends, who changed their name to NOAH, released it again in 2022. The lyrics of this song tell the story of a woman who is immersed in the world of her imagination. She imagined being in an empty city inhabited only by herself and the man she loved. But as soon as she returned to the real world, she was sad and disappointed because the man she loved ignored her. Everything is no longer beautiful, the air of life feels gloomy and no longer provides happiness. Until finally, the woman returned to the world of her imagination. There, the man whispered a sentence to ask the woman to let go of all her imagination so that she could again find happiness in real life, namely the real world.
