I have the G300 Pro in burgundy and it is absolutely mind boggling. Same guitar from the same factory with a different brand would be more than twice as expensive.
I'll definitely give it a go. I have watched and read around about 9 reviews all rating this guitar from 1 to 10 always 10. It can't be just a coincidence. Nice video review, and great guitar skills, well done.
@@AndyHillier Amazing! Yes I agree. In fact, Cort is the biggest guitar manufacture in the world, it produces Guitars and Parts for many other majors Guitar companies such Fender, PRS, and many more. I believe that to be main reason of solid and high quality guitar build.
Thanks for the review. I picked this model up too Andy. It's very music genre versatile with these Pickups and the 5 position selector switch....styles from Chic to Sludge/Heavy Rock. It's my first 24 fret guitar and I am aware that I am strumming basically over the neck pickup (as you are and many others are too) rather than strumming in between both humbuckers as I would on my 22 fret guitar.. A bit weird at first but definitely getting used to it. It would be nice to see how this G300 Pro model compares to the G300 Raw and G300 Glam models which have different tone woods eg mahogany body and neck. A nice playing guitar so far with a light touch trem arm with the x2 springs in the back cavity. Cheers
I picked up a demo unit in burgundy, came with a few dings but plays perfectly. Honestly, the ergonomics of this guitar are so good - I'm not sure if the bridge is actually furtherr down on the body or if it's just the offset body making it feel like that, but it's SO comfortable to play.
I wonder if it would've been better to use a neck coil split or make the neck humbucker halves in parallel for the position 4 instead of two inner coils... 🤔 Can always mod it though...add the 2 way toggle switch like Ibanez AZ and get 10 sounds now
Are these new g300 pro models ( gold, polar blue, raw, etc.) Better than the first model that came in red and black color? I'm really into the red version that came up a few years ago, i hope you know something about it. Greetings from Mexico (Sorry about my english😅)
No real drop. If you are getting a big drop in volume you but both pickups are working as position 1 and 5 are fine then there is probably a wire loose on the selector switch

Yep. I love mine.

Yep I am so pleased with mine. It’s far better than I was expecting. Great guitar
I have exactly same Cort. Good guitar. Only downside is alpha mini potentiometers.
I have had no problem with the pots. And is a really cheap easy change. I love this guitar and use it when teaching in schools.

I love my G300. I take it to school to teach on. It’s really comfortable to play and sounds killer.
Have mine in black. Perfect guitar for the money. If it would have Fender signature it would be 1600 USD easily
need a tutorial on this playing style like in this bit 6:11 )
also gold guitar cover looks like something from the daft punk time
Simple pentatonics/ blues licks
Thanks for reviewing, great guitar! I just have a question, how does the neck feel like? Like fender, ibanez? Thank you.
It is really comfortable. More fender than Ibanez. It’s a nice C shape not too big or too small. I think it would suit most people.

My gold on is the same as the black and red one. They are amazing guitars. I have been using my guitar teaching in schools everyday and love it.

Good day,

How about tremolo, does it's still in tune?
Yes it is really good and stays in tune well.
@@AndyHillier ok thanks buddy, think to buy after this.
It surely does. As good as any real Gotoh.
I have it. It is beautiful. Looks boring, other than that its 9/10
