Imo explosive/frenzy is the best overall combo for endgame content. Don’t have to worry about hitting multiple targets to proc ofa and frenzy also substantially buffs handling and reload so you don’t need to worry about running a reload mod freeing up a slot on your gauntlets for other mods I.e. champion mods
Firefly/Dragonfly is the first Chelchis I got on the very first run. Is it *great*? No, not really. Is it a blast to use in playlist activities? YES. It's also hilariously fun for add clear on some encounters.
with both firefly and dragonfly, do you know what damage type ctakes priority for the collateral kills? like, if i'm a titan running path of the burning steps, would the solar firefly damage count toward my burning steps buff? or does the void dragonfly take priority? same question, but reversed for something like nezerac's sin for warlocks.
Yeah, I just never really like the feel of trying to proc OFA on semi-auto weapons. In end game content, where this thing will REALLY shine, enemies take a WHILE to bring down, and so that's where Frenzy really shines. OFA is one of the best perks in the game, but on this kind of weapon, I think the ease of use + reload buff makes Frenzy better.
I feel with this scout in endgame content & it’s trait giving more ammo in a mag. Ofa is probably better. But if your doing solo content I’d say frenzy as the trait becomes void. I usually craft 2/3 different rolls of weapons anyways for certain situations & I’ll be crafting both. Because both are great in all situations imo.
I got this harrowed with firefly and one for all. Single explosion procs OFA in a group. Highly recommend going this route even for GMs. Snappy reload with clean sights makes me happy they brought one of my favorite guns from D1 back better than ever. Hopefully the full auto mode gets added soon in accessibility
With that Full Auto addition, would it just be Full Auto on or off? Because there's maybe 5 or 6 Archetypes that I love Full Auto on but I couldn't stand it on say a 140rpm Hand Cannon!
From what I’ve heard from others and speculated myself, a Dragonfly/Firefly combo roll demands respect in Trials. In a teamshooting meta, turning a grouped team into a free round win is huge. They have to respect the collaterals you’re threatening with.
Lots of people comment on the amount of effort put into the videos, explaining the weapons and it’s perks, and I 1000% agree. But I also think the thumbnails deserve some attention! Those things are amazing! Keep up the great work man, nobody does it like you!
I'm looking forward to crafting one with firefly and dragonfly. I'm interested to see how it performs with my high uptime radiant build or the Gyrfalcon Hauberk together with the (soon to be baseline) dragonfly spec since both of those can get you a 3-tap in pvp and make the explosions outright kill close by targets up to tier 6 resilience (or maybe even more with the Hauberk, needs to be tested).
Vorpal/Frenzy was my choice. with GMs in particular, this is gonna be such a great swiss army knife. Fast reloads, 30% extra damage for free against champions, 15% against red bars...I can't wait!
As a frenzy lovee I will definatly go for explosive frenzy on voidlock/voidtitan with volatile rounds as a Range/ anti champ option instead for unvorgiven. Void still slaps with volatile rounds
Simply the fact that the sight isn't obstructive like the other scouts makes this my rop pick for PvP, even though other weapons are better suited for PvP in the energy slot.
This was one of my favorite weapons in all of D1. No real reason why, it just felt right. I feel like that changed the reticle and the sound a little bit, but it still feels great. The only bummer is I really, really wish they gave this thing box breathing.
Another specific thing that makes explosive the go to on this thing: Chelchis with explosive payload will instantly trigger Caretaker’s stagger points. On a previous Vow run, we both had EP Chelchis and it was the most amount of Caretaker stuns I’ve ever gotten
I do have to say, getting a firefly/ one for all random drop from the raid was pretty nice. You get a reload and AoE effect from Firefly, plus the extra damage from one for all. Not great in higher end content, so I’d have to agree with your roll!
I crafted Explosive + Frenzy on mine. The handling and reload comes in very handy for harder and solo content. Plus the fact that it activates while stowed is the cherry on top. Explosive OFA would be my next pic if I ever feel like changing it up.
Doom was the first weapon I went for mainly because I was looking for something to replace my pointed inquiry witch Queen scout because Pointed with enhance adaptive munitions can 2 tap antis which is huge especially on a void Shield GM yeah arby can do it in one but that's both a special and an exotic and by having a scout that can do it I free my exotic slot. the roll I'm crafting on doom is fluted, Tactical, explosive, Frenzy with a handling Masterwork been using it for a couple days and I love it literally bring dead monkey mode just point clicking and shoot. I'm hoping Doom will be able two tap antis also
It definitely wasn't made for crucible but I find it incredibly good there, with controller you have more stickiness against other players and it's very easy to 3 tap them.
My very first KF drop was a red border Doom with Hammer, Accurized, Explosive and One4All. Unfortunately, it's been downhill on drops since, but at least I got one good one. Always great content.
The first drop I got has explosive payload one for all. Amazing for harder content and I've been using it in master ketchcrash. Then I got vorpal and frenzy. Sure I'd love to craft this but when u get banger rolls dropping I'm gonna focus on crafting the fusion and pulse first
I really love my firefly ofa roll. I’m a big fan of firefly and having a beast damage perk that synergies really well with it just makes for a fun time.
This thing is stacked and it's just instantly best in slot because its only real competitor as a PvE void scout was Vouchsafe and maybe Pointed Inquiry for enhanced Adaptive Munitions, which this thing can also get for AB champs. It can also roll with 2 of the best neutral game PvE damage perks in the game, Payload and Frenzy, at the same time so it's an instant winner in my eyes and it's been serving me well since I crafted it.
i crafted one pve roll with enhanced dragonfly and enhanced firefly..insane explosions I have a random roll for pvp with explosive payload and eye of the storm which has worked really well so far for me
I've always been a fan of Scouts (hung jury in d1 and d2) and vision of confluence in d2. This has replaced all of them. I got firefly and one for all and its great because the firefly explosion procs one for all.
I've gotten very lucky with drops of this gun, but my very first and still favorite roll was Flared Magwell, Explosive payload, Dragonfly. It is a monster jack of all trades build. I've used it in strikes, in Gambit, in Master lost sectors. I have Stat/One for All, Firefly/ Dragonfly, and vorpal/focused fury, but the first is till my favorite.
The only one that dropped for me the only time I was able to do KF dropped with Arrowhead, appended mag, stats for all and repulsor brace. I love the weapon even though I don’t have the best perks for it. Using it a few matches and I ended up dropping 37 guardians. Mind you I am not a top tier pvp player. Not even a top 50% player and the whole time I was using arcstrider. Now that I have a decent gyrfalcon’s hauberk I may try a void build with it. I’m sure I can do better with it. I’m keeping that roll until I can replace with a better roll.
EP+OFA is exactly what I was gonna craft, all the other fun combos, dropped for me as random drop even firefly+drangonfly. This is the only weapon I wanted to craft asap.

I RNG'd an EP + Frenzy roll and think that may be my general play work horse. Crafted roll I'm leaning towards Adaptive + Frenzy or OFA for GM-level content when Scout's in for anti barrier like it is now.
I love the Raid weapons. And I love how EVERYONE is sleeping on the Fusion because it’s a high impact. But fail to realize that it has unique combination that NO OTHER has. Backup Plan & Successful warm up. This perk combination completely changes it’s archetype! I have one crafted with Chargetime masterwork and accelerated coils. It’s unbelievable!!! TOTAL SLEEPER
Just got my final red border for it Tuesday, been excited to try this out. Just don’t know which roll I want. I want to know how much the double precision explosion would do, especially with volatile rounds, but I also want that vorpal focus fury to do some damage. I hope they implement double crafting slots eventually for this purpose.

Adaptive Frenzy is going to be nuts for GMs this season, adaptive applies to barrier champs, causing you to 2-3 shot barriers, who needs arby when your primary does the same thing?

Instead of Dragonfly SFA I’d do Firefly OFA, you get the AoE and reload bonuses but instead of handling and stability you get the damage boost I already crafted my EP OFA roll, working on FF DF, and might do a Vorpal/Unrelenting/EP Frenzy roll for PvP, just haven’t decided which of those would be more useful in the first column. I’m leaning towards Vorpal for use against supers
I got a Vorpal Weapon + Focused Fury roll, threw on Sundering Glare (artifact mod) and it’s INSANE how those 3 perks working together will chip away at boss/champion health bars. I think base dmg per shot was around 4000 on Carl but ramped all the way up to 11,000 🤯
Don't sleep on Firefly/Dragonfly combo in end game content! That collateral damage is sometimes one shotting or almost 1 shotting most minors and small majors in Master Content!
I wish it came with some different damage perks just to use a fun pvp roll. I have a EP+Focused Fury roll rn and it's fun but FF just doesn't come up that often for the 3 tap. Definitely will craft one at some point for pve tho.
It’s pretty hard to get a bad roll of Chelchis. Bungie did a great job with the Kings Fall weapons.
Except for the Lmg, could have used some big love. Maybe fireing line and killing tally in separate colums

Make sure you use the seasonal mod that extends the Runeth Over effect, Zaoli's Bane can be overfilled to 20 rounds with this.

@@chaseykplays it's whichever gets the kill. From other videos, it seems dragonfly triggers first, then firefly a split second later.
I went with frenzy instead of OFA for my GM's scout, cuz I prefer the increased reload and handling of it. truly a worthy successor for my Vouchsafe
same, frenzy is my overall favourite damage perk. requires no thinking from me it just activates and stays on as long as you fight.
That scout just straight up murdered vouchsafe in terms of perk combinations. Power creep is for real withe the KF weapon set 🙌🤣

DF + Firefly was able to actually colat other adds in master KF so I think it's actually very valuable in that regard.

Vorpal on primaries is 20% so with frenzy up as well that is 35% against champions and bosses.

I actually really enjoy using this in 6v6 pvp hits hard. Pairs well with a harmony sidearm like peacebond.

Give the Machine Gun a try with Enhanced Unrelenting and Killing Tally. With the Runneth Over, it's a great gun to run around on non healing classes.

Frenzy has to be one of my favorites perks. U just have to in combat, no killing, no sliding or whatsoever just love it ❤️

Agreed. High impacts with just no back up plan are insane and people just don’t know it yet. Which honestly as a fusion player makes me happy lol

I already crafted my EP OFA roll, working on FF DF, and might do a Vorpal/Unrelenting/EP Frenzy roll for PvP, just haven’t decided which of those would be more useful in the first column. I’m leaning towards Vorpal for use against supers

I got a Vorpal Weapon + Focused Fury roll, threw on Sundering Glare (artifact mod) and it’s INSANE how those 3 perks working together will chip away at boss/champion health bars. I think base dmg per shot was around 4000 on Carl but ramped all the way up to 11,000 🤯
That’s not even including other buffs like radiant, charged with light, font of might, etc.
Just a heads up repulsor brace does self proc on volatile rounds

Don't sleep on Firefly/Dragonfly combo in end game content! That collateral damage is sometimes one shotting or almost 1 shotting most minors and small majors in Master Content!

I wish it came with some different damage perks just to use a fun pvp roll. I have a EP+Focused Fury roll rn and it's fun but FF just doesn't come up that often for the 3 tap. Definitely will craft one at some point for pve tho.

Vorpal frenzy is what I’ll probably do because dumb n I’m curious to see how well it will do against champs
I got 4 random drop red Dooms in 2 runs... because it's in the loot pool of 4 of the encounters (including Opening). So I'm at 7/5 on the pattern.
