Vanagurd zombies is a bit forgettable, they better have no mentions of vanguard and just make krafft a guy who was obsessed with the sentinel artefact, and maybe vanguard dark aether that looked cool

Not many people are talking about this, but I think this is the best zombies soundtrack we’ve gotten since bo3. A lot of it is kind of 90’s retro and also some themes straight from the older games. Also, these Kevin Sherwood songs are top tier. Loving all this.

A soft reboot of the Chaos storyline would be an incredible move-not only to bring back the nostalgia but to give the story the closure it deserves, especially after BO4’s confusing and abrupt ending. Cold War had solid mechanics, but it missed that mystical atmosphere and intricate storytelling that made Zombies feel like a journey into the unknown. With BO6, it seems they’re trying to recapture that magic from the BO3 era-dragons, ancient rituals, and dark lore woven into the world. The idea of merging the Chaos storyline with the Dark Aether is exciting because it could create a deeper, richer narrative that blends horror with dark fantasy, taking us back to when Zombies felt steeped in mystery and myth. And if they pace it right, the season finale could genuinely blow us away with a climax that brings all these threads together. One can only hope this will lead to a final showdown with Dr. Monty himself-I don’t believe he’s truly gone, and a chance to finally confront him would be the ultimate culmination of the Zombies saga. What if, all this while, we thought we broke the original cycle, but to a being like Monty, it’s just a fraction of the real cycle?

So all these Confusing plot holes from ColdWar, Vanguard and MWZ and they finally decided on making the Vanguard's Outbreak Origins lore canon, so that means BO4 Chaos is the Origins of this Dark Aether Timeline and is officially canon again.
I remember a theory that when Nikolai plunged the multiverse into the Dark Aether, other zombies modes from non Treyarch COD’s were thrown in like WW2 zombies, Exo Zombies and Infinite Warfare zombies alongside Chaos as well hence why there’s no zombie modes post Black Ops 4 up intel Cold War. My guess is that the final map will be the Dark Aether itself and it’s basically the Void from the MCU. Also there was a throwaway line and a scene where the Apothicans were shooting 115 into other universes while the Shadow Man himself has come under different names.

Chaos isn't canon to the original Aether story that ended with Tag der Toten. This is a whole different universe with the Dark Aether storyline however so it is connected to Chaos

I thought that guy was old in the 1940s with Vanguard Zombies! Something is REAL off.
