At 30 years old, I still record Dirty Jobs, and will forever love anything associated with Mike Rowe! He totally shaped my appreciation for labor based jobs, and reinforced the work ethic my dad instilled in me. Keep it up Mr. Rowe!
One of the many, many reasons Mike is a hero of mine: we're the same age and he constantly reminds me to never, ever stop trying or learning new things. His energy is unstoppable!
Michael Garnier is an absolute genius. And I love the way you approach each job in this series. You are an exceptionally gifted man, and I'm sure you are a chick magnet as well! Your parents are to be commended for raising you with great morals and values. I've read 2 of your mom's books and it sounds like you haven't fallen far from your family tree. Thank you for your streams, they really brighten my day. God Bless Mike!
Mike Rowe is the best. The world needs more of his kind of content. I had a big grin on my face the whole time watching this. Now I want to do the zip line! They were absolutely flying on that thing!
I’m ‘treemendously’ impressed! Love treehouses, grew up building them with the boys! We even built a stage and backdrop with a puppet tower. We did it all! Free materials too due to the subdivision being built around us! Score! Some of the neighborhood dads were engineers and contractors giving us advice as they came to check our work! Ahh, I miss those days! Treehouses are treasures and childhood memories packed with every experience one needs to learn in life! Bucket list for me I have to stay in this Treesort, do the zip line AND the swing! At present, I’m a 68 yr ol hippie with adventure in my bones! Damn good coffee, a perfect nites sleep-heaven🙏🏻❤️
That was great. Mike is always willing to try anything. Mr. Garnier you can tell put a ton of work into his resort and you can bet, he enjoys every minute being there and taking care of things.
Mike,I love that you do all this stuff since dirty jobs ended and really like that it's you narrating. Sounds strange maybe but you have a soothing voice as opposed to alot of other narrators. No weird stuff meant either. Great shows I get immersed in and it all has a relaxed but captivating at the same time. Its just not boring. O please keep it up. I'm sure alot of other people appreciate it as much as I do. Ty
I feel the same way about his voice so I get it lol. It's been such a part of our lives for so many years that it's comforting and he's so good at it. I honestly can't think of anyone that I enjoy listening to ever.
This really brings out the old kid in me. Im part of the generation that still got kicked out of the house at sunrise, survived drinking from a water hose and all kinds of things that kids of today would be crying about before they were even thought of. And we pretty much lived in, self-built, tree houses all summer.
I love this episode! I was fortunate to grow up in a rural area & as the only tomboy of 4 daughters, my father built me a wonderful treehouse in a huge Catalpa tree with a very wide, multi branch base. I was in heaven! I rode my Welch pony all day & played outside year round. I wish that for children today. I have always wanted another treehouse as an adult. Maybe someday....
Hey Mikey! I liked it! I liked this video a lot! What a way to express your second childhood and be up a tree, too. Gotta Love it. Mikey, thank you to your team and you, too. Cheers, Mate.
He is a perfect example of "Stand your ground" and what can happen if you do. Other wise it would have been Tree-Son, I know I had to do it. Don't hurt me!! lol "Treason"
What ? You didn't do the walk on burning coals? What kind of man are you? Great video. Love your stuff. I started working in my fathers service station in 1959 one month before I was 10 years old. Since then I have been a big rig driver. I have become a welder and a sheetmetal worker and a machinists. I have been an auto mechanic. I have been a welding instructor. I have made parts for air craft and even have parts that are on the Voyager satellite. I have been the foreman at most of the companies I have worked for and ran shops. I am now 75. So you can see why I love your shows. Also I too am a smart ass from time to time. Keep up the great work. Love you man.
He seems to be the O.G. Of treehouses but you should also look up a guy named Pete Nelson, he had or still has, idk, a show called treehouse masters. Great guy
It has been awesome watching this youtube channel grow. I absolutely love it when people that were part of the legacy media machine embrace the new media and bring all of their back catalouge, knowledge and experience with them. This is lifting the quality bar much higher on youtube. Les Stroud is another that has successfully made the transition and its great watching these guys bring their own particular brand of entertainment to a much wider audience.
Growing up in the northwest and knowing its beauty, this would've been awesome to go see and do! Maybe a trip in our future! It would be a real TREE-T! 😂
Used to live in Talent, OR [nice lil town of 2k when I lived there]. Oregon Caves are also SW of Medford, worth the price of admission. Would make a nice double tap to Tree Living.. Wish this was there when I was in the 1970's. Too old & decrepit now, but looks like loads of fun.
Awesome! And congrats, Mike, for not ending up like a lot of folks who take the ride like that at some amusement parks...they end up needing a new pair of pants.
I actually have worked with him on a projects in Eugene, albeit by phone and pictures. He developed the attachment method as well. He has done more for treehouses here in Oregon and elsewhere for sure
Love your narration mike!!!! 😁😁😁😁 ALL your shows!! Old and new. Plus you have my name. You are a lot of fun brother. Love your shows. Thanks bro. You rock man. Keep going. Branch out.😁😁😁😚
Whoa! My heart was beating so fast during the zip-line and the Tarzan swing!!!! I would love to stay in one of those tree houses. Actually, I would love to live in one but at my age and with my health issues it isn't feasible. I'll be watching this video again. Thank you for sharing it!
Cloverfield Farms Treehouse Resort Bed & Bar-B-Q…has been my dream and retirement plan since I first started renting my acre of midwestern bliss on the SW corner lot of Nichols, IA. Now that I own it I plan on building 5 farm themed treehouses with 4 of them being fully equipped overnight rentals and one being a playground. I plan on having a private bar with a beer garden serving my own home brew beers and homemade wines along with daily bbq served with homegrown vegetables from the garden. I also plan on incorporating a custom wood & metal shop a possibly some guided night time catfishing excursions on the Iowa and Cedar Rivers.

well said.
Agreed, once you’re a laborer you just keep moving up but always use yourself. And gym bros wonder why you’re so strong 😂😂
Pete Nelson is the Tree House Master look him up . Good show as always Mike
One of the many, many reasons Mike is a hero of mine: we're the same age and he constantly reminds me to never, ever stop trying or learning new things. His energy is unstoppable!

Mike is incredibly articulate! Even during the impromptu phone call at 5:45, his command of dialect and English is simply superb

Hey Mike! That swing looked a bit surprising. Awesome episode!
One of the things I really liked about Dirty Jobs, was that the crew was abit infront of the camera aswell.
Thanks Mike.
