Growing up in dolton in the 70's and 80's. We had an outdoor ice rink in dolton Park that the park district did. We had dolton pool. You had to pay I think $80 a summer for a pass

I learned how to swim in a public pool in my city in the 60's. So i get that about the pool.
Cut out some of those social programs and the city might have money for city business. That's one thing i've noticed about this city council meetings they use alot of city funds that only benefit a certain few in the community. Thats part of the reason why the city has a deficit and Tiff stealing money. And then everybody in the room seem to me like they cant seem to understand that you cant help everybody and there comes a point where you have to put a stop to frivolous spending. This is Illinois so im sure that wont happen just wishful thinking and I'll say it one more time..... they all need to go from the mayor to the trustees.
