3yrs later and the comments a little funny. I guess when you grow up fishing tidal water.. you know what creeks the bass like low tide and what creeks they like high tide.. but then those alabama bass just act different😂
If you can catch the tide right you’ll catch one ever cast. I been trying to learn the delta for about 5 years now 😂. Still no doubt one of the best fisheries we have thus far south in Alabama with out going up to Montgomery.
I definitely want to get back there. Despite the fact that the delta kicked my butt, I immediately wanted to do it again the next day. What I’d like to do is spend a good week on it in my boat.
I live down here and try to fish it once a week. It’s TOUGH but when it’s good it’s tide temp and clarity it’s great. Not the biggest fish but you can catch plenty. Most locals use snagless sally baits or June bug trick worms/rage craws and horny toads seem to be the most productive frogs. I know it seems old school but the Sally’s really do great down here. The duck blinds bays are great in the spring and fall along with all the grass flats. Next time try Chacaloochee, Bay Minette basin, bay grass or big/little bateau bay. Good luck next time!
I wish I did but considering that is the only time I’ve ever been there, I don’t have any suggestions. The fact that you even know the names of places there tells me you know what more about that place that I do. However, a chatterbait and a black/blue jig would definitely be tied on my rods if I were going there.
What tidal fishery do you think is the best bass’n hole in the nation?
I don't know a thing about tidal fisheries. Love to fish down there someday though.
You gotta come up and fish Nelson!
That place has always been feast or famine for me. Either I’ll load the boat with dinks with an occasional decent one or it will be a slow day.
amazing brother 👍, great fishing video, i like your boat
Thank you!
In South Georgia we call that fish a warmouth. Tidal fishing for bass is tough.
That ain’t no lie! I can’t wait to go back though.
Yes that name too, almost forgot it!!!
Where were you fishing in this video?
I really have no idea about the names of any of the areas that we were at.
I have never done the tidal waters thing but that looks like a blast! Bit of a drive from our neck of the woods haha!
I was already in MS for training so I luckily didn’t have to make the drive.
Great video
Down here we call em a Goggle Eye and they do eat great.
I was thinking that might be the name of them down there.

I’ll be completely honest. This is my only time ever fishing tidal waters and it completely threw me for a loop.
@@stevebasingerfishing don't feel bad. First time I big lake I was stumped😂. Been so used to fishing fresh tidal water and brackish waters lol

I wish I had some tidal advice for you but have no idea. Water that moves one direction then turns and goes the other way is completely foreign to me.
Nice video, nice boat, nice catches, new subscriber here 👍

I don’t know that I will ever get down that way again but you can bet that I certainly want to. That place is absolutely beautiful!
Fishing perch creek tomorrow in Mobile, any recommendations?
