@ yeah dude I know it sounds cliche but you will never reach a high like the first time shooting up it's hard to explain. But that's good for you man you never injected rn I'm off heroin but I'm taking pain pills trying to get my self off them little by little it's a struggle but I know I'll get sober soon.

Stay strong, you will manage if you put your mind to it, you came off heroin so painkillers should be an easy match for you! And remember, every small step still counts -- and even if something might be easy for someone else, you're not weak for seeing it as a struggle. (When I was off benzos just going outside was a struggle, but patted myself on the back when I finally managed.)
