I have a patio pond and you don’t actually need a filter or air bubble. After a while , natural cleaners will appear and clean the algae , etc. nice set up btw !
You are so cute. Thanks for your video, I would use aquarium silicone to seal the mini pond, but maybe it will work out fine outside, I don't dare to use it, when the pond is going to be inside in my apartment. 😅💪
PLEASE do not use hot glue or super glue in pond or aquarium situations! While they are aquarium safe, they will dissolve very quickly. It is far, far better to just use aquarium silicone.
I have this exact pot in my shed and this is a great idea for it. If I shouldn’t use hot glue, what should I use to seal the hole in the bottom for my fish pond?
can I put a small pot inside to cover the hole? I am using that same pot sitting in my shed doing nothing? Plan on using a Solar fountain in it as well
Great job kiddo I really enjoyed your video. You have a lot of fun stuff going on, and thank you for doing this! My first time catching one of your videos. You’re an inspiration and your channel will do very well. I’d like to do my first plant pot pond and have a couple questions. Do you need to feed hyacinth? Also is your pot in shade all day or does it get some sun? And what do you do with your fish at the end of the season? I only have two aquariums in my home and hubby says that’s enough. I hope to change his mind one of these days😉.
Hey this is my first time seeing one of your videos, you're going an awesome job and I love all your tanks and animals. Keep up the good work 👍 You've gained a subscriber 😊
Chewy's Bro Aquatics I should have watched your video before getting 6 comet goldfish with similar setup. Now I regret they will eventually outgrow my pond(similar size to yours). Should have went with the minnows but at PetSmart they didn’t look very nice , all beige colors lol.. anyways thanks for video really cool 👍🏻guess I’ll have to figure something out when they get bigger.. this size pond is probably also great for fancy guppies, but those comets goldfish just look so cool 😎
The ducks in the sprinklers are so cute ♡♡♡♡ I have a tetra internal filter that size I'm not using and lots of flower pots so I might have to make one of these
Love this video! You have a nice way about you on camera-very easy to watch. Loved that you got Taco Bell lol-you seem like a nice guy who makes a project seem easy and non threatening lol . Hope you keep up the great content and your earnest, authentic style! New subscriber!
Ok I have a question I am getting new fish I have to change my substrate with means taking all the water out I have two hang on back filters and a sponge filter the all have biological filer aka good bacteria will this be enough to keep my tank running if I save the bio media will it be ready for new fish right away
It would probably be enough but the substrate does carry a ton of bacteria as well. Why are you removing the substrate? If I were you and I had to replace the substrate I would add some bacteria supplement right when I re add the fish just to be safe
helo bro, just finished watching ur vid. would like to ask if there is an easy way to maintain this pot pond as in how often we need to change the water and how?
“We have to keep the fish alive and healthy”
Oooh are those koi.
Yes

Shoulda used flex tape on that pot hole son
Flex tape is expensive 😂
it wont be good for the fish

What about losing water through the sides ? Should that be waterproofed ?

Do you just feed them regular fish food?
Is this the right mentality for keeping pets however small they may be.

love this DIY so easy to follow
Love ALL your videos im wanting to do this too but concerned about stray cats getting them
you can prevent this by putting a cover over the tank, I use mesh that's clipped to the tank to stop my cat from getting my goldfish
Sorry about the fish 🐟 😞
what's the name of the filter you are using? where can i buy?
Is it just an American thing to put fish in the smallest container and pretending they have a great life 🤔🤔🤔.
Khadija Alma Jønsson I’m sorry what?
Khadija Alma Jønsson Really? Obviously you have never been to Asia. They are everywhere. Some of those containers are 5 to 10 gallons. Plenty of room.
can you use feeder gold fish instead of minnows?
Too small for goldfish

@@K9WarNinja goldfish only grow a certain size depending on how big the space is they live in

Man I had the same problem I just kind of let it work itself out and it did I couldn't afford a dose anything.
Love this so much!! I’ve started my own a few months ago and I love it. Where did you find the filter that hangs on the side?
is this good for beta fish?
does anyone know if birds will end up eating the fish out on the patio or yard?
I didn’t have that issue
i have peed in that pot before

Who is watching this video in end of 2021
Awesome
Hi. The filter you used for the mini pond.....was it an indoor or outdoor filter, also where did u get it from again?
It’s a tetra internal filter!
Great video!!
Love the nom sounds haha
Can someone explain to me about what to do with it In The winter? I live in a place where it can be hot for a while and very cold and snowy
Do u have a garage
helo bro, just finished watching ur vid. would like to ask if there is an easy way to maintain this pot pond as in how often we need to change the water and how?
You could probably get away with a 25% water change monthly depending on your stock of fish and plants
@@ChewysBro Noted on that bro, thank you so much for ur response 🙏🏻
How long did the glue hold?
Can I use a fish filter
It was a fish filter
👍👍👍😁
