I have learned many things from watching your videos. It all ties into what we are learning and is helpful to someone who doesn't totally grasp the concepts. Its all slowly tying together. Thanks for your help!
This video was helpful because it explained what the results mean and why we would conduct a one-sample T-test. It also mentioned the assumptions, which confused me at first. Thanks.
The explanation behind why this is used was helpful and I liked the use of graphic representation. This video makes things easier when doing this in SPSS.
What is the next test to see the if there is a difference between one-sample t-test results for the REBT and waitlist groups? I have a similar research study and I'm not sure what I would do next when comparing scores to a population mean, but I have a categorical variable I want to compare by as well.
This was an excellent refresher! I have only used SPSS in undergrad, so being able to watch how you conducted a t-test was very beneficial. In an attempt to better understand each step and teach myself through this video, I would think about what to do next and estimate what you were going to move into the columns and what buttons to select. Overall, I really enjoyed this video!
This made it seem too easy; the question now becomes how can you conduct a one sample t-test using just one group from the independent list...would that be a slit file or something else. I guess it is time for me to sift through some more videos to find out.
Excellent learning for me again
Thank you!
Very clearly described. Thanks!
You're welcome.
Excellent demonstration of how to conduct a one-sample t test, as well as check for underlying assumptions.

This is a helpful foundation in understanding how this one-sample T test is different from independent-samples T tests.
Another very helpful video!
Thank you for this very helpful demonstration.
One sample t test seems to be the standard and safe way to go.
