I'd love to attend but $250 kind of a lot for a college student. Most of it might go iver my head anyways to be honest.

$250 is stupid cheap compared to the alternatives. These types of conferences that you have to show up in person costs over $2K! Not factoring in hotel, and travelling expenses. Trust me kid, this is the best $250 you'll ever spend. And unlike your college lectures from a person who has been stuck in Academialand for donkey's years, you'll actually gain REAL-WORLD knowledge and insight of the embedded software industry.
My best advice if you're still in college, is to stay in college and get your Masters, hopefully in STEM. Most jobs out there are using masters degrees as a resume filter now. Oh, and do your own projects while you have free time. Cause when you work a FULL TIME job you'll have barely enough time to pursue your hobbies cause you'll have to do this thing called commuting, and you'll be like most folks who commute 1hr or more one way due to the sheer cost of living being so high, at least in the US.
Also, know your worth, the channel called "Joshua Fluke" is a good channel to listen to. Joshua Fluke will give you guidelines to help you avoid getting screwed by corporations. Do not believe that corporations are out to "help" you in any way, they can and will screw you if you let them. Avoid startups like the plague, only take them on when you're more experienced and you work the startup as a contractor. Never work for a startup as a regular salaried employee you'll get screwed out of your time and money only to enrich some trust fund baby, or some Elon Musk type "idea guy" that will pump and dump you harder than Dogecoin.
Recognize that a high salary is akin to "golden handcuffs", know what "anti-compete" clauses are and be aware of how wide the scope is.
BYOT, Buy Yo Own Toys. DO NOT use company equipment to do your hobby projects! Cause' your IP will be their IP. Only use company equipment to do work that's assigned to you and nothing more.
The only way to get substantial raises is to move on to another job. Plan your career move ahead of time, the absolute best time to find a job is when you already HAVE a job. Just keep in mind of any non-compete clauses you've signed off when your hired.
Don't try until you'e 35, enjoy your twenties, develop and grow your hobbies, make friends and connections but don't be dumb and make stupid decisions that you're not comfortable letting employers finding out, cause remember... The internet NEVER forgets.
Do not go into things that will tie you down when you're young, like taking out a mortgage for a home or starting a family. Structure your life such that you can where the jobs are, in this day and age you'll have no choice. Look up what the FIRE (Financial Independence and Retire Early) movement is and stick with it. But remember, once you have a family, retiring early is out of the question, your butt has to keep working until your in your sixties due to the additional costs of having a family.
Find out what makes you legitimately happy, a good book to start out with is "How to be Free in an Unfree World" by Harry Browne. Learn to say the word "no" and have the resources to follow through.

Will the embedded online conference talks be available online, like other conferences do (pycon, cppcon, JSConf)?

I understand your question. Most talks will stay within the conference's website and be available on-demand exclusively to people who will have registered for the conference. If you can't afford the conference because you are unemployed or a student, feel free to reach out to the conference's organizers through the contact form at the bottom of the conference's website for a significant discount.

      @@Embeddedrelated This is disappointing.
Until the videos are released, I won't be able to judge if the price is worth it.
