- This is the TAG-Z dirtbike motorcycle carrier rack that will work on cars, trucks, buses, Van's, estates.
it is adjustable at the rear wheel side for different sized bikes from the size you see in the video to smaller bikes, they do other models for full sized motocross and trials bikes.

I said the wrong name in the video and only just realised, awesome company, helped me out with all my annoying requests about the rack instantly, and so far the products I have purchased from them are excellent high quality and I recommend them as a first stop when looking for something like this.
TAG-Z is a british fabricating company with excellent reviews on their quality, which I have seen first hand and can confirm this is not a botched together rack from overseas with questionable welds.
will fit any family sized car but weight limit for very small cars could be a factor unless bike being carried was like 50cc-80cc.
awesome kit, especially if you don't have the use of a van to transport the bike, and if you have just a van but can't fit a bike inside because it has all you other stuff in there, then this will also fit on your van with the spacer.
awesome, tool for collecting project bikes in all conditions and bringing them back to be fixed.
super simple slip fit, takes 2 seconds to install and 2 seconds to uninstall, it doesn't get much better than that.
my one complaint was the placement of the support bar, for my bike I would prefer the bar was more forward, maybe a couple of inches, but this might not be an issue for many of the other bikes that would fit.
and also I was using a large pitbike with a big wheel upgrade so normal wheels will allow enough room.
again video was to show you can still squeeze a big wheel version onboard.

I got one for a ktm 450 and it's not big enough . But can get it on adjusting it past the end of the bar a inch with the safety nut out . And it does hang out then worryingly in to oncoming traffic
Yeah that sounds scary, I would hang a very bright orange or pink rag or flag from that end, just to make sure all the lazy idiots can see it a mile away.
Be careful on corners as someone coming around could be going wide to avoid something like a.... cyclist, drain, parked car... and might get very close to your extension.
All I would be able to do after seeing a mangled dirt bike is CRY.
But yes, try and make that side as visible as possible to people, like having a LADDER sticking out of a work van, dangle a very bright rag off of it.

I’d put a pool noodle on the pole so it don’t rub cool hitch tho.
Turn it around? So it's mounted leanning into the car.
We had it like that so we could still access the boot, we have loads of stuff for travelling when the bike is loaded, just easier to get in and out.

thx for the video man, but I don't understand if I can use it on my car. I have the towbar in the classic shape, I mean with the hook and ball. Can you help me figure this out?
This does not work for Swan neck tow bars.
Only the 2 bolt hitch ball type.

Better than always borrowing a van or annoying people with vans to come and get me.
Maybe you could get a conversion plate, to mount to your towbar like an adapter to fit a 2 bolt hitch style.
But yes this carrier rack is better than useful and has made my life much easier.

How do you get away with the bike covering the number plate?
By plugging in a trailer board into the towbar electrics plug.
And just hanging it over the bike with bungee cords.

Would have been nice to see how you got the bike into the rack.
Just lift the handlebars until front wheel is in place, then you barely need to hold it, just go around to the back and either lift by the sub frame under the rear mudguard, or just fingers through the spokes and lift the rear wheel, very easy.
And you will notice there is zero straps holding the bike in place, it just sits there by itself very sturdy, of course you need to strap it down to move, but it will just sit in place un-aided while loading by yourself.

Would need an M.O.T
And power would be limited to 30MPH
So all these high power scooters will never be allowed, at least until we can get proper cycle paths all over the place like America has.

It's only good for very light weight bikes. So if you can't life the bike up and down with ease, this carrier is not for you.
All bikes below 110cc are very light bikes. My bike was a 160cc and had nearly every addon you could put on it.
Weight is no problem for the design of the rack, but some cars will be limited at the towing weight, tongue weight I think its called. 75kg -80kg in my car.
But its a very handy contraption, I also fix a lot of bikes so collecting them is very easy just using the car, and much easier finding parking spaces.

@@oraclescave My 125cc retro scrambler is about 130kg. The carrier may take the weight, but I don't think my back would take the weight of lifting the bike up and down for too long.
@@olibhearmacguidhir6887 there is bigger versions for full sized dirtbikes.
This is the 50cc-110cc carrier rack.
There is a bigger version for upto 450cc.
If your back needs care, maybe stick the engine into a mobility scooter lol
