- I haven't seen too many of these videos, so I made one. Getting a step stool really helps. Thanks to my buddy Hari for recording it. #trackday #motorcyclecarrier #towing #s1000rr
*Looked like he was gonna shit himself the whole way “😰, then stops, Thats it!😃”, 😂😂*
Lame
Thanks for the vid, I just bought the HF carrier and a Werner platform ladder just like yours. I'll be loading the same way. And don't mind the haters, better to be safe than sorry.
I have the same Black Widow carrier and can do it without a step. The chock keeps it upright and in place once you use some gas to get it up the ramp.
lol I am 5,6 and I load an adventure bike on mine with no stand, you made it look harder than it is. Some times I back in to a sidewalk to make it easier.
Watch yourself, short stack..
I’ve got this same rack. I need the thing to stand on. Brilliant. Much easier.
Which brand is it? I would like to get one for my truck.
The thing to stand on should be lower though for a smooth transition.
the more I see these video's the more I rather get a trailer, maybe because I'm old.
Trailers have their negatives also. Reduce fuel economy. Have to have a place to keep it at home and where ever you are hauling the bike to. Extra license plate and insurance.
Good job! Cool bike.
The reason most people use a carrier is because they don’t have a truck bed to put the bike in. That means they probably don’t have the room for the extra platform.
I bought a KLX300SM just for hauling with me on road trips. Light enough to load and fast enough to get around as well as enjoy the curves.
Some of us have a truck bed that is too full of tools.
Not much can go wrong using that carrier is there
what straps do you guys recommend? specifically, what's used on this clip? thanks
Can we see the unload video??
And the how to tie it down safely one. I bought a 400 pound capacity one from harbor freight and the dealer at Honda I got my rally 300 from said it wouldn’t work. Just wasn’t enough lateral restraint angle and I agree. But mine didn’t have a good front wheel chock as the wheel was a bit too big for the pin to go in.
@@johnmorpheus120 , I have the 400lb capacity HF carrier that the wheels drop into openings which helps support. Hauled 300 lb bikes all over the US on it. Just make sure you put a brace between the front wheel and inside of fender so you can lock down the suspension.
Don’t drag race or slam on the brakes and everything will be fine.
How can you get away with blocking view of brake lights, turn signals, license plate?
It seems like it would be easier just to ride this up the ramp. It’s low enough and you have somewhere to put your feet on both sides
What about strap down??..Im more interested in how to keep it from falling off
Answer: Very carefully.
Good job tho, moving my dads busa is scary af 💀
Which brand carrier is this?
You could just roll it up in first and hold the clutch in.
Who makes this
It looks like a Black Widow MCC-600, looking at buying one myself right now.
I’m going from NY to FL to you think this its secure?
Yeah bro. I took my S1000RR from LA to Thunderhill Raceway which is a 6.5 hour one way trip. Super secure. I would add one more strap from the vehicle to the right handle bar or triple clamp just for added lateral stability. But I’ve had zero problems since I got this carrier. Black Widow 600lb
Thank you so much bro , I’m so excite to load my 959 on back of my sprinter van, I’ll keep you posted!!
I went from Houston to Austin and found going underneath and around the lower part of the triple tree has more of a secured tie-down for the front. The handle bar setup gave me hell causing the bike to lean away from the vehicle going over unexpected bumps. I used the AceBikes TyreFix for the rear and it works perfectly!
@@flaviogabriel8980 How did it go?
@motoSage LA my friend everything was great, first 30 minutes I was kinda scared but after that everything was normal , thank you so much for your video., helped a lot!!!!
LOL he was nervous the whole way. Need momentum
Lol he just didn't release the clutch 🤣🤣
Carrier is that?
Looks sketchy I will stick with the U-Haul bike trailer for now 👀
What are those Ramos called ?
“How to load a motorcycle on a carrier”
Just do it.
Can the rack hold the weight?
Class 3 hitches have a 250 to 500lbs tongue weight. I kinda doubt you can carry all that safety
feel for the clutch 0
where to buy this carrier?
Mototote.com has a similar setup
Personally I would not trust carrying my motorcycle like that.
Looks scared af
You needed a stand to walk on??? Do you have a ladder to get into your truck?
Bad idea to have the engine running
Youre too scared lol
He got the job done carefully & safely.
