Ma’sha’allah. I was also a catholic. I grew up in North Carolina. I now live in the Middle East. I converted in 1984. Most of my friends that are reverts here, were also catholic. Even when I was still living in NC most of the reverts I knew were also catholic. I went to catholic and a Methodist Christian school…. That’s one thing they always would say…”you have to have faith” you should never question the priest or minister. I remember after I converted I was told I would go straight to h*ll.

Hope Allah, who has no spirit may protect you from God's wrath on Judgement day. Islam is a false religion and the verses in the Quran destroys it by itself and the way Mohammed lived proves that it is from the devil.
Why do you call it 'revert'?

Islam is the religion of Adam, Idris (Enoch) Noah, Abram/Abraham/Ibrahim, Joseph:Yusuf, Jacob, Yacoob, Ishmael Ismail, Moses, David, Suleiman, son of Virgin Mary & Mohammed
And many other prophets & messengers in between.
What Muslims believe is there is no prophet after Mohammed. They await the son of Mary, similar to the Christian’s, while also being fully aware and cognizant of the “anti-Christ,” in terms of eschatology. One eyed thing, evil, will fool many many many people.

I had a anti islamic book too but the book was perished, because Allah s.w.t says in the Quran: ,,The disbelievers and his deeds are void." This maked me more intelligent.

Reading the Quran and it's true meaning makes one more intelligent. The Quran keeps asking the reader to use his intellectual faculties. Too many times all throughout the Quran. Very intelligent God. The all-knowing and The most wise.
