This is so good. These kids capture the joy of rock and roll in its purest form. The funny thing about the Stones comparison is that the Stones were ubiquitous in 70s and 80s in every Chicago dive bar and tavern. As a kid, I thought the Stones were from Chicago, they were so popular there. It's so funny how these kids soaked up that vibe from the city and from their dad's record collections...my guess is pops had Sticky Fingers and Let it Bleed on repeat...These kids fire.
Getting Better has something that I can't really explain, such a nice vibe. I don't know, maybe I feel a mix of joy and nostalgia (this may sound stupid, whatever). one of my favorite songs released in the past few years.
Jack is an incredible song writer and we can see how he has grown as a musician since the first album, damn i could write an entire essay on him. His voice is also super unique!
This is what I'm talking about baby! yeeeeeaaaah! Thanks KEXP for constantly shining light on some great bands - always a great source when I'm on the lookout for new music.
they are all amazing, but that pianist really adds so much. hella good musician right there. and that drummer just jams and looks hella jolly and chill. and the the three vocalists are obviously sick as fuck those screams. i get high to this video like every day.

I saw Twin Peaks twice in NYC, once in Tucson, AZ and once in Philly. Incredible shows each time and really nice dudes to talk to. Really hope they do another tour soon.
happy 3rd birthday to their album "down in heaven", one of my all time fav. these dudes are very talented and awesome. keep on rocking twin peaks! huge fan here
Saw these guys on accident at the Music Tastes Good fest in Long Beach.I was blown away, they were really fucking good. I will definitely go see this band again hopefully sooner than later. killer energy, killer sound, great songs way to keep the Rock n Roll sound alive gents.
I saw these guys with Portugal the Man and Cage the Elephant in Seattle last summer and I wish i knew them before I went because it officially would have completed me
Had seen them 2 weeks ago opening for Cage The Elephant. At one moment the amps of the bassist fall down, he didn't notice the first few seconds and after, the roadie was doing his job, the bassist was just staying there, watching him. The guys in the band was laughing a bit, and after finishing the song, the bassist came to the mic and say "Yeah, it sucks" was hilarious
That's not true actually, they've said before they had never heard of the TV show before. One of them and a friend were peaking on acid at the same time and came up with the name Twin Peaks
I love how genuine the lady appears to be
She is always a classy fine professional. Not weird and robotic acting like the audiotree interviewers. She's very personable and broad.
Dude think its more than just her job. She stays putting on these young indie bands. She’s like mama dukes on the block.
Cheryl is the shit

I love that the drummer is wearing the same shirt as he did 2 years ago at KEXP. Hilarious.
They really need to start selling Saint Francis Track and Field shirts.

Getting a real Elephant 6 recording label vibe off these guys, real throwback to the 90s indie pop rock of bands, like Beulah. Excellent.
Your music makes me smell the city. I love it
These guys are great...
Digging that Cubs jersey!
Trying to get these fellas to come over for a sesh. It’s only fitting!

+Kevin Buckley lmfao!
Speaking from personal experience with Coke dealers, are you?
It's Donny Brasco, man.

Love how the guitarist plays the A flat in the first song- Fuck detuning! :D
I really hate to love these young Chicago punks, but I do.
doesn't Dr Jacoby from Twin Peaks wear glasses a bit like that?
yeah I think they're the same style but his have a red lens and a blue lens
She asked that same "is the Chicago music scene supportive?" question in their last kexp visit
I saw these guys with Portugal the Man and Cage the Elephant in Seattle last summer and I wish i knew them before I went because it officially would have completed me
10/10

Love that Connor has the same shirt on from the last kexp performance 😂

Gotta love these boys for not jumping on the 90s bandwagon and choosing the 70s as their decade of nostalgia
Omfg como rayos no sabía de su existencia
Every time i Hear Wanted You i think of the girl who dumped me.
she wasn’t the one for you bro. hope ur doing better king.
Had seen them 2 weeks ago opening for Cage The Elephant. Parts of "Wanted You" sound very much like "The Man in Me" by Bob Dylan.
What kind of guitar is the hollowbody

oh fuck yeah!
Cadien got that Pablo Escobar 40 kilos a night look
any body know the guitar brand and model clay is using in this video by chance? doesnt look like his vox, help would be appreciated. much love all
Phantom Teardrop BJ
Cadien got that Christopher Walken 'needs more cowbell' look going on lol
This band fucks
Kids, have I ever told you the story of how I was one of the twin peaks?
Haha!
What guitar Clay is using ?
The singer with the teardrop guitar looks like he could be the son of REM's Bill Berry.
Real deal
does the name of the band have any connection about the tv series?
Marcus Cavalcante yeah they named themselves twin peaks because one of their brothers was watching it and they just thought it sounded cool
That's not true actually, they've said before they had never heard of the TV show before. One of them and a friend were peaking on acid at the same time and came up with the name Twin Peaks
Nathan Otto lol that's pretty funny. they were doing a QnA at my high school and they probably just gave us the PG version of how they got their name.
the singer is from the croods
Real
connor is wearing the exact same shirt as the first performance
