Amazing! I replicated this for my first ex2 clear with a much weaker setup. No electro armor, tifa instead of zach with no 6mo weapon and only 5.9k matk, and only ob2 on aerith weapon. Took a few tries but managed to squeeze through. So grateful!!!!!

Niceeee - I was wondering the impact this would have on older fights I already beat. This is gooddd. That timing for the other silences is something you gotta be ready for eh. That is a quick kill too 👍
Yeah the silence timing is like a split second after she snaps her fingers, a little tricky but not horrid. And yeah man, it is SO good let's be real hahah
@@BodhiJMSRyder my mind is spinning 😵💫 now thinking of additional secondary tertiary effects on Tifa weapon this Wednesday. Considering guild battle is bahamut boss. They probably made aerith and Tifa, the 2 new boost matk-all weapons considering him. So it should probably handle mdef down or matk up I hope (or both 🤞🙏). Cuz it could be quite tricky to slot in mdef down matk down debuffs for boss and matk up for dps with the two new weapons taking up slots. Aerith can bring garnet rod to buff dps, or sun unbrella to debuff boss to mid. kamura doesn’t really fit with a magic team. So if Tifa handles the other buff/debuff it would work out quite well. The current mdef down weapons on Tifa and sephiroth have sh!t r abilities. I can’t wait to see what Tifa brings to the table in regards to additional effects - I sound like a rambling crazy person. The new Tifa weapon is also probably gonna make her fire water thunder magic arcanum’s so much stronger 😵💫😵💫😵💫

That was awesome. Shiva got destroyed by this team. Not even sure you actually needed to break the sigil phase since the team was so powerful and also never in danger of dying. :)

That all esuna is just too OP lol! Wish I can draw the rod to OB6. I'm patiently waiting for Tifa before blow all my saving out 😅. Btw, I notice that party's atb didn't add up, is it bugged or?
It depends on the HP% on Aerith for whether it triggers or not. Definitely wait for Tifa and then make a good choice =) Yeah Heal All Esuna is soooo good

Just letting you know that it's actually possible to break this fight even harder. A powerful enough DPS can break her second fire gauge before she even does the single target attack.

Thanks mate! Yeah I’ve seen some friends in my guild absolutely destroy this fight, but it’s crazy how just that esuna all basically breaks EX2 Shiva in half hahaha
Seeing this makes me regret not choosing Barret’s costume since my red build was getting so good since I didn’t pull for his canyon outfit or hellhound but Barret might have been the better investment….
I think it comes down to who use more. Me, I only use Barret in battle tower. However, I use Red in all summon battles and can get him close to 400 defense in a stat anyway, so I chose canyon.
I def don't regret choosing Barret's costume, there's just SO much value in it ngl.

Well tbh the real mvp here is Zacks limited fire weapon, you can easily replace Aerith or Barret but you can't replace Zacks fire weapon or at least find something similar to it.
I mean this was beaten by a F2P player with only Fire Materia. Also, Tifa’s Shell Knuckles are better and not limited. Aerith is def MVP in this fight with this beta ~

Can this be done with kujas med patk and matk down? I don’t think I have any weapons with 3 tier down.
Barret works because he can do Diamond Sigil/MATK Break/Imperil all together. Sephiroth works as a breaker, but then you have to still bring in diamond sigil (actually not necessarily if played well) but then also a fire imperil, so just gotta work your team around bringing those mechanics into the fight

So, another thing you could do is also try to make sure Aerith has the highest Ice resistance to ensure the Heavenly Strike targets her giving the Bahamut Rod the prompt for the ATB boost.

You have to cast it basically the exact time she is casting it on you. So about a split second after she snaps her fingers

Would you say then that at ob1 is still viable? I think it is for fights like this so it’s worth pulling even ob1.
I think minimum ob 6 u need >70% ob1 is only 50%
I agree I also believe minimum it should be ob6 but he is using ob5 which basically is the same imo to ob1 besides the stats, like I think he would have gotten the same results with ob1. And for fights like this I think it shows ob1 would still be useful
For certain older fights, OB1 totally useful and actually the costume is so good I think a lot of people might have one copy. But if possible I think pulling the 2nd stamp card for as close to OB6 as possible will future proof this weapon a lot more for players
