Well! I made this sauce today, its absolutely lovely, so much better than any shop bought one's.. and I've tried so many. The whole family loved it. Ill always have a jar in my fridge from now on. Great recipe thank you x
OK... i've got this sauce bubbling away on my stove too right as I write this... that is... as good as I can.. I have difficulties with your 'cup' measures and i had to guesstimate the amounts. I'm optimistic though... it smells great and I looked up to heaven when I licked the spoon, so... :-) Thanks once again Chris for sharing this.
That looks delicious. If I could just find those scotch bonnet peppers in my area, I'd definitely try it out.. I think I remember you saying nothing really takes the place of a caribbean sunshine, so I gotta find it :)
I have been looking for a sweet and spicy sauce for oven baked chicken. About to try this. What brand of pot are you using here? I need a good cast iron type pot.
allspice is known as pimento? i thought pimento was red bell pepper? i'm confused!! Thanks for sharing! I plan to visit a local Caribbean market to find some of your ingredients, and my favorite pepper, the sunshine!!
As a vegetarian, I'm always looking for new recipes to modify. My BBQ seitan using your recipes went down so well even a confirmed carnivore ate seconds.
Wow - this looks delicious and you can tell it's made with a lot of love!! The most important ingredient!
