    More car, less interview footage. I only got to hear it running once, I love this channel but lets not forget what it's truly about here.

    • @CatheysKid
      @CatheysKid 9 лет назад +9

      I agree....Far too much face time with a well spoken, articulate curator....not enough car time. Petroloicious shoots cars better than ANYONE...but the slow pan/roll was mostly shot in silhouette and the car was lost in shadows.....but, the music bed was perfect.

    • @311baca
      @311baca 9 лет назад +18

      CatheysKid It's so hard to criticize such a great channel for anything. The videos themselves are pure artwork. I just thought they lost themselves a bit with this one. I was like...show me the car please! Tell us about that hand crafted body and interior, ornate looking luggage that has replaced the back seat. Is it's twin still alive today and if so where, does the leather travel through to the trunk? I was just left with so many questions about the car. I was left with no choice but to google it after. It was like the ending to American Sniper.

      @CatheysKid 9 лет назад

      Jess B Petro is definitely the best around...they are so good they make you want more..my comments were not meant to be critical..it's just that Caddy is so beautiful I wanted to see more of it and (I) had a hard time doing so.

    • @311baca
      @311baca 9 лет назад

      Agreed, it took me awhile to click on one of their videos but when I did I was blown away by just the peer passion they project about the love between the car and the driver. It's like they make the car come alive and you get to see that owner's love for it and how it's driven and cared for in it's natural element. The sunsets and the backstories. I'll be a fan for life. Long Live Petro!

      +Petersen Automotive Museum It amazes me that a car built in '53 is mysterious enough that no one knows the original colour. Fascinating.

    Remember seeing this at the Peterson Museum years ago and was blown away by it's elegance. Didn't know about being able to be able to buy a chasis back then, something I think will become a trend with electric motors now on the rise or maybe just conversions.

    Petrolicious is one of my favorite You Tube channels and I would like to thank them for producing such a high quality video every week. Actually, I have to say they look and sound more like a film or movie production. So thank you very much to everyone at Petrolicious!!! To whom ever is paying for the production cost and to everyone on the production crew, from the writers, director, editors and everyone else involved, great job... well done... one again thank you very much.

      The Nethercutt Museum and the Mullin Museum are both extraordinary, and both are within an hour's drive from Los Angeles. The Nethercutt focuses on the 'grand classics,' inter-war beauties that have helped them win Pebble Beach Best in Show 6x, a record number. The Mullin showcases French automobiles and is currently hosting a fantastic Bugatti family exhibit.

    Sigh;...I naively went to Petersen Museum to enjoy what "Mr. Petersen was "Giving Back to The people of L.A.""... So I thought it was Free. .....Parking $10..... Base Admission $15.... or $35 to see the "Good Stuff"! (What???)
    $ Forty-Five Freaking Dollars is NOT "Giving Back" just to peek at some damn cars they own and they get Tax Credits for being a Museum!!!!! ........................ TIP: If you visit L.A. bring a suitcase of Money; nothing is Free.

      I've been to petersen. It was well worth the $45 dollars in my opinion. you could spend hours in the museum with the amount of cars they had there. and in cali what do you expect nothing is cheap, especially the L.A area. still one of the best vacations i've been on
