I have a lot of trouble watching this as i break into tears every time i do. I saw a Australian sixty minutes version years ago and when they went back and visited her sometime later she was still fully functional despite a specialist nurologist that they interviewed saying that it was impossible.

This is amazing. I had a stroke that has disabled me and it must be so amazing to have be herself again. I think that was one of the most shocking things for me, not feeling like I was myself anymore and not having a clue who I was and what sort of things I liked.

Amazing results! I had 2 strokes in 1986 and 1 stroke in 2001 (all 3 blockages/clots were in the deep base of my brain (same spot), surgery would have caused more damage). I can somewhat function , but struggle daily. I have never been able to fully recover or regain the use of my left arm/hand and left leg. I'd be willing to try this procedure (even if there was some improvement).

This is how medicine is supposed to work. Hard to believe the resistance to this med by the professional neurologist clinics that treat stroke and TBI patients.
My father had three strokes last week. We’re excited to see he may get his speech back this way!

However, it is likely to be years before this treatment is available to patients outside of the United States.

My wife also suffered brain stroke in march 2016, right side paralyzed, loss of speech, today (8 Aug 2020) she can't speak properly, right hand not working, limping in walking. If you suggest this treatment for her, she is only 40 years old.
