Benz lost it's touch. Don't follow Tesla. It doesn't look good at all. Take away that big screen. Bring back the real feel crafted wood panel. If you (Benz) wanna look in line with technology, improve other parts than a big screen in the center dashboard. Looks opposite of elegance, moreover "Sporty"

@@Nabilllllll at 8:00 he is going 100. And you can hear tons of roadnoise. The G20 3-series is quieter. Maybe it's a problem with the mic of the recorder but it's not a good way of showing how "quiet" it is with a shitty mic if thats the case.
I think that this interior move (it looks like s class) is very good thing for Mercedes to outperform BMW and Audi in same priced car section and also good for us customers to have best product for lowest price possible. Nice Mercedes❤️😁🔥
Pretty nice, especially with the rear axle steering. The engine sound is pretty much the same in the W205 C300 though. He mentioned that for the start the top-model will have 258PS so this is the same spec as the W205. I wonder if this is the power output without the starter generator. edit: I found out that the C300 will have some kind of overboost by the starter generator and engine and will have over 270PS for up to 40sec.
Me too. Once I saw that screen on the s class I fell in love with it but I can't imagine getting a s class. Now that it is on the c class, I would seriously think about getting one in the next 2-3 years

Totally agree! Did you see the Hyperscreen which they will put in the EQS? This Interior should be S-Class only and the other normal ones for E and C. Let’s see what the future will have for us, maybe there will be some changes soon 🤔

After my actual C Class S205, I wouldn't bother with another anymore...its just sad, what Mercedes delivers quality wise these days...mine had so many flaws in the 4 years I have it.
The new merc c-class w206, is mild hybrid across the range. From what I understand mild hybrids help get rid of the clutch interface required to pair the ICE & the transmission. Is it this way on this car?
Mercedes designs great looking interiors and then just slaps screens on them as an afterthought. It's so hideous and all their vehicles are like this now.
Only the top trims will get that steering wheel and giant screen, that's how MB does it, especially in Canada. $$$$$$ What's the base version look like?

Nahh, they lack innovation, their thinking cap just stopped doing the job. They should have kept the V8 muscle and find ways to tackle the environmental regulations issues.
@@sibuyiselomthembu4787 I don't think they lack innovation. The new engines are unbelievably efficient. There are draconian regulations that every car manufacturer has to respect. For the whole model range they sell, there is an average of "x" amount of CO2 that can't be exceeded. It's a pity that the V8 is gone. It's a pity that the Airmatic is gone too ... But it seems like today the cars are built more by accountants instead of engineers.
Future is now. I dont understand why some People speak negative about the Interieur like the big Display in the mid. All manufactors will develope their card in this direction Trust me..
I hope they got rid of the squeeking metallic brakes noise that the previous C-class has. And also the cheap trunk closing noise as well. Mercedes used to take care of how the doors closing sounded. They seem to have forgotten about that. I love my c220d, but these things sometimes makes it feel cheap. No such things in Audi or BMW Planning on getting the new one in some hybrid variant. Or upgrade to glb or glc
I think it is fair. The C class was the only one to not get the new A class interior. Beside mercedes will present the new EQS and the new hyperscreen which will be their "special" car.
Nah this isn't on S class level my friend. It was like that last generation too. C and e all looked like s but they don't have the materials, refinement, details, features and the overall feel of being in an s.

I just can't get excited for it knowing that it is 4 cylinder only. I miss the days of a base V6 in a C240 like the W203. And most of the time these 4 cylinders aren't even more efficient than a good 6 cylinder.

I was not a big fan of the displays on the S-Class but for the C-Class it suits perfectly! So much more fitting to the C Characteristics 🙌🏼

They should've kept this interior design to electric cars... ICE Mercedes should've just went with the new CLA + G class interior.
