Honestly, this song was amazing and surprising. I've never heard this song or of this group. It was a heartfelt song with lots of meaning and you can see that by the expression on my face.
It details stories about war and living life and supporting your family and how all of these things are things to be proud of no matter how small they may seem to you or how hard life may seem to get. It really puts things into perspective and you can visibly see that this hit home for me in so many ways. It's honestly a happy song despite what many may think depending on their understanding of the lyrics.
For me, this song is very meaningful and strong about how amazing the rollercoaster of life can be and how we should always be proud of our efforts.
Thank you again for your amazing support, you're all amazing and thank you for helping me on this amazing journey to move to the USA.

My favorite from Montgomery Gentry is My Town. I love that song, it fits small town USA to a tee.
Great duo. Troy Gentry died in a helicopter crash in 2017. Such a loss for country music 😔
I had no idea. Wondered why I stopped hearing from them. Very sad news.

My Town is another Montgomery Gentry that I love and the video is awesome. It's got an awesomely patriotic theme for the video.
John Michael Montgomery was another one but he sang on his own.2 of his songs to look at I swear and The little girl(video)
Eddie Montgomery is singing lead on this one & Troy Gentry is on guitar & backup. As mentioned, Troy was killed in a helicopter accident, on the way to a concert. So sad. They have some other great hits like 'My town' & 'One in every crowd'. 'She couldn't change me' is cool too. Eddie is the brother of another country star, John Michael Montgomery. He has some great music too. 'The little girl' will make you cry & 'Sold at the Grundy county auction' will make you smile. "I swear' is a love song that I have sung for may weddings.
Two more great songs from Montgomery Gentry are 1) Daddy Won’t Sell The Farm, and 2) My Town.
I call them a crossover Band, if you like Rock, they're a good intro into Country or vice versa.

Two of my favorites songs from Montgomery Gentry is Need A Beer ( a great song about remembering the ones who aren't here anymore,) and Better Me but unfortunately they are also two of Troy " T-roy" Gentry last songs before he died in a Helicopter crashed.
