    I'm just recently into macrames. I've seen a lot of tutorial videoa and found yours the easiest for me to follow. This is the third I''m gonna try. I just finished your spiral plant hanger and I fell in love. Thank you very much! Just a question for this crown knot, if I want to make this a plant hanger, how long should the cords be? Tia 💞

    • @soulfulnotions2648
      @soulfulnotions2648  4 года назад

      Well there are many variables to that question, like how long you want it to be, how much of the crown knots you want to use, how thick your cord is , how many cords you use.... so I can not say for sure, I don’t want to give you the wrong answer and you cut allll of that cord and it ends up being too short! My best advice is to play around with it, using whatever and how many cords you would want your Planthanger to be, measure it before you do some knots and the measure again to see how much cords even just a few used! Hope that helps! ... also, I know when I use this knot and use 8 cords, it uses quite a bit more that a usual square knot etc!

    This is great but I'm missing something.. If I'm making a plant hanger and only using four cords now I've got this nice crown knot attached to the ring but I only have four cords to make the plant hanger. I'm guessing I need to start with 8?

    • @soulfulnotions2648
      @soulfulnotions2648  4 года назад

      I used 8 for the one attached to the wooden ring for a planthanger in the video. I would use 8 or more to hold a pot.
