I have played a lot of sports and take a lot of finals and I can say one thing. There is a thing called over-preparing. in my opinion Biden and his team are rattled by Trump and they tried to be TOO prepared for the debate. They put too much pressure on it when in reality they should just let Biden walk out and debate from the hip. His issue is yes he is old and declined, but if you are trying to remember all the preparation and recall it exactly you get what you got in this debate. Biden does not need to remember numbers or details. That is not what this election is about. It is about making sure he is rested and takes his vitamins and eats right as perked up with caffeine etc. and has a general response and message to Trump. people want to see him stand up to the bully in a dignified manner and be positive. I suppose his dementia has not impacted his ability to read yet, and if words, ideas, sentences etc are fed to him from the teleprompter and his speech writers, then he seems "OK"... But once Joe needs to think for himself, he's completely lost. That much is clear. He not only needs to step out of the race, but he needs to resign. It's possible for old people to just have a very bad day. Frankly, if Biden's staff really wanted to "gaslight" us, they would not have asked for this debate.
Now, even if Biden is usually shrewd and astute and only happened to have a bad day, some people might still be worried, thinking that it makes him unstable.
Some people (like me) might think it's ok as long as the candidate has been showing extremely stable acheivements over his presidency like Biden has.
That's for people to decide.
But either way, it's a completely different story from claiming that Biden must be always speaking unclearly behind the scenes, or that his staff is maliciously trying to trick people.
It's as if Brendan wants to bring Biden down to the level of Trump, to make people think that Biden's team is involved in gaslighting just like Trump.

I have played a lot of sports and take a lot of finals and I can say one thing. There is a thing called over-preparing. in my opinion Biden and his team are rattled by Trump and they tried to be TOO prepared for the debate. They put too much pressure on it when in reality they should just let Biden walk out and debate from the hip. His issue is yes he is old and declined, but if you are trying to remember all the preparation and recall it exactly you get what you got in this debate. Biden does not need to remember numbers or details. That is not what this election is about. It is about making sure he is rested and takes his vitamins and eats right as perked up with caffeine etc. and has a general response and message to Trump. people want to see him stand up to the bully in a dignified manner and be positive. They don't care about statistics or data t this point. That is it. Don't let an old man who is declined have analysis paralysis by bogging him down with over preparation or giving him facts and data to try to remember.
