Im not even an army but I find it refreshing to see global KPOP star like Jin to go back to "traditional" way of promoting, which is through Korean shows. His friendship with Seok Jin and RM members in general is so wholesome. Some superstars, esp those in 4th gens, rarely visit Korean music shows, let alone Korean variety shows because of global market target. I miss the time when KPOP idols frequently visit Korean shows like RM to promote as a group. It really brings out the genuine character and personalities of KPOP idols.
I think it's mostly because at some point these shows didn't treat the groups with respect. atleast that's what happened with bts so they stopped going there. now that they are clearly more successful and no one will be able to talk bad about them, they're trying to go there and end those bad relationships and start again. edit : I'm not talking about this show
I don't know but BTS don't need any variety shows to promote their albums because variety shows didn't treat them with respect and I'm happy because BTS just themselves and the company are more successful without the help of any variety shows.
it was his long time promise to Ji Suk Jin remember the episode where members given mission to cast fellow entertainers on spot ? JSJ called Jin but he was on tour with BTS IIRC and promise to appear on RM if he had a free time and RM staff also Jin used this single promotion campaign as opportunity to make this concept.. brilliant idea
With or without variety shows......BTS is global & superstars.......they are successful on their own hard work.......BTS stopped going to variety shows coz they weren't treated respectfully back then but nobody dares to do that........BTS was, is & will forever superstars.....love BTS ......FROM an Indian BTS Army
