Hey guys! 👋🏾 Today we are gonna be reviewing the new Nars Soft Matte Complete Foundation. They’ve added a few new shades to this line & I picked up the shade Marquises. So if you are around my complexion, I hope you find this video helpful! 💕 This is only my second NARS Foundation so I was definitely excited to try this one out! I think the shade looks really good on you. I just took maco back because it looks to yellow on my but marquises fits me better. Love it on you but NARS do need to create a shade between the two. All they would have to do is mix half Maco and half Marquises and boom they have a baby lol.

In my opionion the shade Marquises looks rather red on your skin. Just a suggestion to try the shades New Caledonia instead, which has more of a golden olive undertone. Good luck to you!

Thank you!! 😊 The blush I used was by Moira cosmetics, blush duo in Fiery Lover and the bronzer is Fenty powder bronzer in Mocha Mami!

I looked at these shades in person yesterday and the associate thought New Caledonia but then agreed with me that I’m Marquises. Marquises is warm while New Caledonia is cool and pulls darker. Hope that helps!
@@breagordon9520 brea! This helps! I run more warm and was worrying the New Caledonia would oxidize cook/ grey or dark.

Hello! New subscriber here! Love the content…I know this is an old video and I hope you respond! You are my hair TWIN! Can you please tell me what you use to define your curls and keep frizz away…? Thanks so much!
Omg thanks! To be honest, I’m very lazy with my hair 🥴 so at that point in my hair journey I would just wash it and while it was still soaking wet, put a little more conditioner in (herbal essences Hello Hydration-I swear by this conditioner. It’s also a great detangler) and rake that through my hair w/ my fingers and just shake my hair out and it would be nice and defined. However, I’ve recently did a big chop and my hair wasn’t curling as easily anymore. So now after washing, I put in the Curls Blueberry Bliss leave in then I apply the Kinky Curly Curling Custard and that works for me now! Hope this helps! 🤗

The foundation looks nice but it is alittle red to me
That’s the same shade as Macao but just a cooler undertone if she needs yellow in the same range she’s probably Macao
I’ve tried Macao in this line, but it was way too light for me 🥴
Macao is more olive and Marquises is more golden/yellow. That’s what a Nars rep told me. I personally notice that Macao (in the radiant longwear line) looks a lot darker/olive on me than Marquises.
