@@chancelacoeur4151 It's from a wonderful 1964 film "My Fair Lady" with Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison where she has to learn to speak like a "Lady" by repeating "The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain".
The Beluga joke was AWESOME! Tells you all about the quality of Ally's jokes that this is what Seth had to add to the list to afford her a shout out. I'm worried Matt and Scollins are a bad influence on Brian. He needs some time back home to reconnect with his Dad-jokes. Scollins doing his best to get Seth beaten up in every State.
I love playing the game “guess the writer” when I’m watching these. I’m not very good unless it’s figuring out which is a Scollins, I’m pretty good at figuring out which ones are his
I want to see a "Suprise Inspection" segment on April 1st where one of the writers does an inspection of Jokes Seth himself wanted to do but was talked out of.
Regarding cave shafts, I'm just going to quote the National Park Service: "In Mammoth Cave, vertical shafts can range in size from 30 feet to 200 feet tall. One particularly large vertical shaft can be seen on the Historic Tour. Know as “Mammoth Dome”, this vertical shaft is over 190 feet tall."
This was the highest quality inspection I have seen. These are good jokes! Very good: The Rock Hard, Queens/Staten, Clinton blowing a candle The horse one was bad though.
The horse's head in The Godfather was a real horse's head! They had used a prop head while rehearsing, then Francis Ford Coppola switched it with a real horse's head, without telling the actor, so that when he realized that it was a dead horse's head in the bed with him, his horrifed reaction would be more 'genuine'
At first, I was going to comment that I liked the DEET one, as someone who is "filet mignon" to mosquitoes. But it just got better (and quite "naughty") till the end! The last Dunkin one was much funnier than the one used in the monologue😂
The trash joke was solid. Bravo Scollins. I shall now direct my jackal remarks toward the guy with the *NCIS Lab Asst* headshot... Once I remember his name.
Because of this segment I recognized Scollins attending my standup show in Paris, France - was a pleasant surprise but also strange to see him NOT in that tank top.
Hey! I’m flying’ high (in the friendly skies) on pain meds right now, too! Must be why I enjoyed those jokes so much myself. Hope you feel better soon! 🤕🤒😵💫
Every time I watch these inspections, I ask for a segment, "Jokes Seth can't tell" that are just Scollins jokes with him delivering the punchlines. When's it coming?
After having many tourists insist that there is a train to the mainland from the island I inhabit(there is not - there isn't even a bridge) I got fed up one day and blurted out, "The train to main exists mainly in your brain." How I was the only one laughing, IDK.
Tuesday’s segments get posted with the monologue at 9pm to pad out the length (no A Closer Look on Tuesdays), but it gets it’s own video later in the night at 5am with the rest of the show’s interview videos.
I hate to say this but, this show's worst jokes will always be better than Fallon's best jokes. And its not even his fault! He's super funny. His writers however all need to step up. Seth and Colbert have freaking amazing writers. And every show is a banger; even the suprise inspection
EVERY surprise inspection includes an Ally joke that's an absolute banger
i still think about her one about manatees/dugongs from the zoom surprise inspection every so often
@@kxmalakhanany idea when this one aired? Now i'm curious.

The whale one is SO GOOD. One of my favs of the whole show.
It’s nice that Seth includes the other writers so that it’s not just, Unairable jokes by Mike Scollins.
Jokes Only Scollins Can Tell
I mean, there was the "Oops, All Scollins" edition of Surprise Inspection a couple months back.
Once again, Suprise Inspection proves that Seth is the Original Jackal...
One of us! One of us!
this could be a M. Night Shyamalan movie lol
"The whales in Spain came on plane from Ukraine" is PURE GENIUS!!!!😂
Agreed! 😂
Sometime, when Seth’s on vacation and we have a guest host, I hope his writers do a surprise inspection of his jokes. If he still writes them.
good besides the vacation part, should be a bit like the writers are giving him an intervention but it's just reverse inspections
Led by Amber and/or Jenny of course
Okay, but no other TV host puts the spotlight on the writers! He lets them shine-who doesn’t dig scollins?
The last one was gold
Yeah, that last one should have made the cut.
Will we ever get a "Jokes Seth Can't Tell - Scollins Edition?" 😆
Probably not.
"Jokes Seth Won't Tell" 🤣
There was a while back! It was “Ooops, All Scollins.”
After Corrections, surprise inspections is my favourite bit :) only here can you get more Scollins ;)
Same! I was so happy to find this after the monologue
I never knew Scollins was from Mass, but somehow I always knew Scollins was from Mass.
Well put!
Massachusetts: The Staten Island of New England.
Masshole
#Corrections: Caves do have shafts, a simple Google search reveals that pit caves are caves which consist of long vertical shafts.
SOME caves have shafts. Hashtag not all caves.
Scollins! 😂 Loved Ali's "Whales in Spain" joke too at 4:00, for those of us old enough to appreciate it! 😊
Yes, that was a good one. But you can't expect very many millennials to get it.
What is it a reference to?
@@chancelacoeur4151 It's from a wonderful 1964 film "My Fair Lady" with Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison where she has to learn to speak like a "Lady" by repeating "The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain".
Scollins was absolutely on fire this week 😂
We love ya, Scollins. Keep them coming!
I feel like Bays adds an Ally submission or two just to give us a control joke during Surprise Inspections 😅
Someone has to class up the joint
4:02 - That is solid wordplay
A particularly good batch here
Yeah. The writers leaned hard into the offensive category.
We have turned this into a game where we pause the video and try to guess the writer.
It's great!

SCOLLINS!!! 😂😂😂
I have watched these long enough to be able to pick the Scollins jokes haha
Doesn't seem that difficult. Does the punchline have something to do with sex or sexual deviants? Then it's probably Scollins.
My boy is wicked funny! That Dunkin joke was perfection 👩🏽🍳😘
This is a brilliant way to get laughs out of even the bad jokes.
Every joke in here is gold.
Just got home from my first visit to the Boston area a few days ago and that last one really makes sense now. 👍🏼
Humping bacchus is basically the proper tribute.

The whales in Spain was an awesome joke
The Godfather horse was old Hollywood. It gave head to secure the part.
Wait, I didn't know it was a Foal.
Uhhg!
Something like that wouldn't horse-fly today.
My favorite segment
That last joke was phenomenal!
Love surprise inspection.
"..when I get roughed up on staten island" lol like seth would go to staten island
I laughed harder at this than at the jokes
0:42 Late Night secret: Seth is talking about his writers here, not the jokes.
no "going down in a Bays of glory" this week but what a great segment!
I like a lot of these. 😂

People talking 'bout sweater weather and I just want to not have to show my knees. Signed, stranded in AZ.
I've been waiting for this one!
Okay but the whales in spain joke literally made me laugh out loud 😂😂
I have replaced all of my profanities with, "SCOLLLINNNNSS!!!!"
Scollins writing jokes meant for a comedy routine in clubs and not for TV 🤣🤣

Wonder if there will ever be an oops all scollins episode of this
AMG i can't wait for sweater weather at this point
I feel like this segment would've featured a looooot of Conner had it debuted back in the day.
I always enjoy the painful way Seth mutters “Scollins” after a joke we all know came from a tank top darkness only known as he
Caves do have shafts. It just means a significant vertical area. There caves called shaft caves. There are more then 30 in New York
this is a weird Surprise Inspection since this time around all the jokes are totally killer
give them a pay rise, Scollins jokes were not too bad then again I am on strong meds

Beating a dead horse is an old one. Heard it first from a British radio comedy from like the 80s.
it's even older than that

_Brian_ had a sexy punchline? Wow. Scollins with the Clinton joke, yes. But Brian??

I would buy the book with all of Scollins rejected jokes in it.

I heard they got it from Arby's.
