Thank you so much for setting time stamps and not telling us you whole life story really appreciate this definitely earned my sub also my setup looks sickkkk now
I have same one. Was thinking of returning this b/c monitor was too high. So thanks for pointing out that you can flip the arm over, for some reason I missed that! Good review!
This review was very well done. I appreciate you not rushing, like most on RUclips, and actually taking your time to showcase the features of this mount. I’m subscribing to support this channel because I feel there is much potential should you choose to continue uploading videos. Cheers and good luck!!!! 👍
Great review! Love how you showcased the product! This video caught my attention so much to the point where I've ordered the mount for my own setup. I'll keep the comments updated as to how the mount is working for me. Thank you, sir!
@@xz0c00 I'm loving this thing! It comfortably fits a heavier Odyssey Monitor and my Acer Nitro, my only complaints are that if you are an aggressive Typer like myself and have heavier/larger components then the monitors/laptops will shake quite a bit. Another design flaw is that it's quite difficult to adjust the tightness of the clamp, and again if you have a larger monitor/heavier one it's most likely gonna tilt downwards unless you tighten which was extremely hard for us to do... But overall, for my use, it's hard to find something better and close to it's price. Definitely recommend for budget/work/kids gaming setups!
Hello, best video about this stand so far man ! I have a question tho. Its really nice product but what about USB ports and other stuff at the both sides of the laptop. It looks like those clippers are in spot where most laptops have their usb ports etc.
Great review! You explain very well. I have seen this monitor laptop arm being sold under another brand, it appears to be exactly the same. It would be good if they would supply an extra monitor mount so it can be used as a 2 monitor support if needs change in the future.
Thanks for the great instructions - it really helped me put it together. (So much better than the crappy instructions in the box.) One problem however, is that my 5kg 24inch monitor keeps flopping forward no matter how tightly I turn the alum key (even til it bends) Wondering if anyone else has had this problem? Thanks!
Thanks for awesome review and instructions. Nice to hear an Aussie accent, we need a good tech review channel, thanks for bringing it. The link you provided takes me to a product $239 ? Did price just increase or wrong link?
Thanks mate! So it's about $100USD which converts to about $140AUD and then shipping on top but if you have amazing prime it's free shipping so that's the price I got it for :) Hope that helps! Had this targeted more towards US viewers.
Great video! Iam looking to buy the stand, but I've got a few questions. How much would the gab between the desk and the wall be, if you mount the stand at the edge of the desk? And for the laptop mount, where are the side brackets? Because I think those would be right where my HDMI port sits.
Thanks for this amazing review! I liked it! Do you think a 32" monitor would fit well with a 17" Laptop as you display it? If not, which measures do you recommend me for the monitor? Again thank you!
I wanted to get the dual monitor + laptop version of this one. If I wanted to run 2 separate 32 inch monitors and my laptop on it, would it hold or would i be better off buying two separate singly monitor arms, one for each?
Great in depth review and product specification! I am in the midst of putting together a laptop powered gaming setup - I wanted to know if the laptop arm could be adjusted to be on the left side of the monitor? Any response would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
@@CC-vw6rp hey man. No it didn't work..not at all. It was too heavy. And honestly the mount is so bad, the laptop was tilted sideways a bit (very noticeable tho) and the mount for the monitor is also tilted and you can't rotate it at all. It was infuriating. Please avoid this mount at all costs! Especially for the G7
@@CC-vw6rp I think most mounts under $100 will shake like that btw :/ I'm going to just get a mount for the laptop and keep the monitor on it's stand. But yea man. It's not at all good. Avoid this mount... The inserts are also not flush...
Do you have any knowledge about monitor arms that hold the laptop above the side screen? My HP Omen 15 can lay completely flat and it would be awesome to put it behind my other screen
Really great Review! Btw are there other laptop trays compatible with this or if the clamp on the side can be removed? Really interested in picking this up, but the clamp on the included laptop tray would cover most of the ports of my laptop.
Thanks! I would say yes, but I would double check with their email support team. I think provided it's under 9kg and has a 100mm or 75mm VESA plate it will be fine - but do double check with them before you buy :)
I'm pretty sure I learned a guitar song on RUclips from this guy haha
Thought I was the only one
Wait, yesterday I think I learned More Than Words from this guy
Lol yes you did

Glad I could help Scott!
Super helpful when their QR link wouldn’t load. Plus… I could listen to you talk all day 😘 Thanks so much.

How was the mount after a few months? Thanks!

Great review, mate. Appreciate you taking the time to put this together.
No problem 👍
Very good job providing installation information not provided out of the box, thank you!
Thanks for posting this and walking through the step by step. I was about to return the box because I doesn't come with much instructions.
Thanks for the instructions. I just ordered one and your guide may come in handy.

Thx, DT! I was hoping to see you rotate more of the degrees of both arms. But nice!
Whattt I know David from guitar 0 to hero didnt expect to know he own another RUclips channel especially like this
Thanks for your efforts put behind and your presentation was very helpful, Regards
I got mine today and I. Love it
Great review and build session going to buy it today.
Well done. Great review and excellent instructions. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Ted!
Awesome review, thanks man.
nice video man thanks
Thanks for the review. This video convinced me to change my purchase from another product to this one.

Great video. I'm thinking about this to put in my desk grommet. Do you have a video for that install by any chance?
Thank you. Exactly what I needed to know.
Very helpful. Thanks

really good set up cheap too
What's your desk model? Such a good review of the monitor arms that I even got interested in your desk! xD
Great review!!! Thats a sale!!! Thanks!!!
Great detailed review and instructions. Have you upgraded since posting this or how has it been after a couple years of use?
thanks for sharing such an amazing product!
very well done review!
price has pretty much doubled since this video was published - still buying it though

Thanks brother 👍
Which ports on the laptop are covered by the clamps?
Is your monitor 24 or 27 inches? Looking at the exact same setup!
What model is your LG Monitor being used in the video?
i got the same model. cheers!

Can this stand be mounted to a wall instead of a table?
Hi. What is the size of the monitor?
This one is 27"
Hello? Is the mount’s clamp adjustable? My table is 6 inches thick, will it work?
GuitarZeroToHero, i knew it, it was you also 😁. thanks man for this review. autosub to this channel also. keepsafe
Great video! So on mine, the laptop stand isn’t level with my desk. Slants away from center arm. Any way to adjust or fix this?
What’s the laptop and monitor shown in the video?
Macbook Pro 16" and LG UL850-W

Thanks Mac! Yup you can position it on any side you wish :) fully adjustable!
DT Unboxed Thanks so much! 👍👍
would i be able to put my laptop cooling fan underneath my laptop while its on the stand? thanks.
Could’ve sworn I saw you from a guitar tutorial the other day but I forgot the channel name tho🤣
Haha yeh that’s me, Guitarzero2hero
DT Unboxed Haha I knew it! Great vids man and subbed to both of your channels👍
Can this monitor support monitors under 32 inches???
I hope this fits a 32" G7 I just ordered.. the back of that monitor looks pointy af

What if I can’t clamp it on my desk? Do you think it would be a good idea to drill it into the desk
How has this held up?
Do you have any knowledge about monitor arms that hold the laptop above the side screen? My HP Omen 15 can lay completely flat and it would be awesome to put it behind my other screen
I cant use the c clamp cus my table is too thicc
Is there like a grommet?
Really great Review! Btw are there other laptop trays compatible with this or if the clamp on the side can be removed? Really interested in picking this up, but the clamp on the included laptop tray would cover most of the ports of my laptop.
I'm not too sure - the laptop tray has a clip that slots into the arm. You might need to email them directly for confirmation :)
what monitor do you have?
Where can i find this mount?
Will it scratch the table?
Is there a way to modify the mount such that you could use two monitors instead?
Not with this particular model. They have a model that has 2 parallel arms though for 2 monitors you should be able to find it on Amazon
If you want too use with 2 monitors it works?
Not this model, this one only allows for a laptop and one monitor. They have another model that can support 2 monitors. Have a look on Amazon :)
Great review. I have Samsung CJ791 which is I guess 34' ultra wide, will this arm work for it?
Thanks! I would say yes, but I would double check with their email support team. I think provided it's under 9kg and has a 100mm or 75mm VESA plate it will be fine - but do double check with them before you buy :)
DT Unboxed it works !
That's great to hear! Enjoy your new workspace!
Does the monitor arm allow for rotation to portrait mode and height adjustment?
Nope - no rotation, so if you want to go portrait you'll just have to attach the VESA mount accordingly.
Can i put a 32” ultrawide monitor?
As long as it has 100x100 VESA mount and is under about 6kg it should be fine! I'd double check with their support though
Does only comes with 1 mount for monitor? Or can I hooked up 2 monitors instead d laptop?
This model only comes with 1 monitor mount but they have another on amazon with 2 monitor mounts but no laptop mount
does the package comes with vesa mounting screws?
Yes, it comes with 6 M4 screw and 6 M5 VESA screws. I used the ones that came with my monitor though
Have the prices gone up? Cant find it for under $100
I meant USD - if buying from Australia it will be more
Are you by chance the guy from GuitarHeroZero2Hero???
haha yup that's me!
The best cheapest gaming rig I can get is 200
Are you still very happy with it?
Yup, still use it
I just bought this myself, the instructions were in an envelope. They weren't good instructions though.
damn, thought it was under $100 Aussie but its 200, rip
Call you give a giveaway plzzz I want a laptop
hey i learn how to play guitar from you
under 100 bucks, its listed for 207
If you’re in the US it’s under $100
The funny thing is you can find the exact same thing for cheaper on amazon.
He says meownt instead of mount XD
