I have been listening to this band since I was in 5th grade and I am 20 years old now. Enter Shikari has consistently pushed musical boundaries and has maintained a very unique, identifiable sound of their own. There's such beautiful contrast between their high-energy live show to an intimate, mellow performance like this one and there are very few bands I can think of that are able to make both environments work so wonderfully. It's absolutely inspiring. Keep it up, ES. Much love.
watching it again. at 14:24, look at Rou's guitar playing!! Overall the craft of the acoustic performance makes the viewing experience like sipping a smooth, bourbon whiskey
@@abandonedaccount1231 no, that's what makes him complete those exact versions. He takes his time to come out. Knowing he "can" do it doesn't mean everyone will appreciate it the same way. As a lead, if he were to just push out a "usual" sound, we would expect it or most would, as fans. Seeing what he does makes it special. And makes him the lead.
Being one of the lucky people who got to go, I gotta thank my awesome women for winning the ticket and taking me, amazing set having only seen them at reading before this was sooo much more enjoyable, thank you guys amazing look forward to Feb in Bournemouth ;)
I've been using this comment for 4 years now but I still don't know why you put 13:26 ! there. Is it because of that cute tap tap thingy he's doing? if so 18:17! if not I would love to be enlightened. much love
This is beautiful ... You guys should start a new age of "MTV Unplugged" in that theater! Different bands from the scene, I would buy every single album!
Brilliant. This acouctic version of "Mindsweep" songs so gentle and strong at the same time. They pass through my brain and hit my heart, so i think it start beat differently. Thanks for all these technologies through which i can see this wonderfull performance. Thank you so much Enter Shikari for doing such awesone things and loving music.
These guys are brilliant in ever way. Amazing musicians, down to earth personalities, they truly appreciate where they are and the people that love them. Innumerable reasons why Enter Shikari is the best band around today. Keep it up, we all love you!
I really like this side of the band. They're such a big influence. Many people have taken creativity by this bands take on a juxtaposition between genres.
this days are being tough for me, i've been listening The one true color quite a lot (the lyrics kinda describe how i feel right now) and watching this acoustic version was so... i dont know. Important for me
Eish guys. That version of One True Colour. I loved the album version, but that's a whole other level :) Cannot wait to see you at Ally Pally end of the month :)
I'm not usually a big fan of acoustic renditions of more rockin' songs, but I loved this! Honestly I think the vocals sound a lot better here than on the album.
That was amazing. I could not tear my eyes from the screen, nor stop listening. I'd not been listening to your music for a while now, but this rendition is absolutely insane. The setting was beautiful, the idea grand and the crowd seemed as bound to your performance as I was. Thank you.
That was the most beautiful interpretation of Torn Apart ... thanks guys, your lyrics means a much in my life ! You should do more acoustic stuff that's awesome !
Must have been unusual for you guys playing a show standing still haha love the acoustic stuff! I'd love to hear Slipshod unplugged 😂 it would be a spectacle
+Christopher Brown never seen them? i live in the US and have seen them 10 times now. they come every year and also make multiple festival appearances. where do you live ?
I'm officially a fanboy. I wrote and rewrote this comment 6 times before posting because I wanted to come across as cool in case one of the band saw it.

+croix89 se farai mai un raduno di ciolle DEVE essere ad un concerto loro
Commenting a second time to emphasize how amazing it sounds. (*sips more coffee*)

I think his guitar playing is top-tier too, it's sad how seldomly he plays

you guys are freaking wonderful. Thank you.
I'd love to have album with these (and other acoustic) versions on CD, it would've been perfect for autumn/winter days.
Great work lads. Beautiful and really appreciate the reworking of each song instead of just playing them on acoustic guitars!
You guys are fantastic!
