GNU will be a disaster. The DA wants "Free Markets" because it won't change the racial hierarchy of the SA economy. Free Markets are meaningless to people who don't hold capital. White Middle class was created by Massive state intervention in the economy and DA is fighting hard to prevent such interventions for black people which will undermine white supremacy of the economy

Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom & views with the people of South Africa and the world at large. I must compliment you on your profound statements regarding the supposedly 'GNU' negotiations. You said a mouthful.
I'll be turning 64 in September this year & I've never in my entire life heard anyone speak so truthfully and so impartially without any fear or favour.
I'm a victim of the apartheid era but I've been a woman with no cry until the ANC did away with the former President Thabo Mbeki. Should this not have happened in South Africa I strongly believe that no talks of GNU would have ensued.
We would still be liberated & enjoying Democracy and not the so called 'democracy' which only favoured ANC members, friends, acquaintances etc., at the detrimental of the poorest of the poor & qualified personnel by appointing unqualified, arrogant & irresponsible people in the hope of sustaining growth in this country with their corruption, all in the name of looking at the disparities & disadvantages caused by the apartheid regime.
The ANC has been pursuing the same models & principles that the white South African of that era exercised. They are now taking us back to where we have been for many centuries in just 30 years.
I feel so sad & hurt when I think of all those Patriots & heroes who lost their lives fighting for Black South Africans to be liberated. You should be very ashamed of yourselves ANC.

One would hope that voters would understand that their future depends on investment and injection of money into the economy in order to create jobs and raise the standard of living, but it seems there is not a good understanding... Investors need a return on their investment, but many companies/investors are hesitating, or wanting to invest their money elsewhere... South Africa needs to repair and develop its infrastructure

The General is a Mature; and an experienced Member of Parliament.
He is in my observation seemingly, happen to be the most Respected Member, whom can be trusted that carrying out his Duties to be objective, strict, frank and Firm.
From my observation, He seemed to be the Best Choice under current circumstances as a person that will be Fair in execution of the Proceedings of Parliament in a strict and Dignified manner, without Fear, Favour and/or Prejudice.
Above all, he is known to be a person whom has a Clean Record as a Politician who carries the Flag High of ANTI CORRUPTION.

I really enjoyed your discussion..."agbare speaker"...thnx for valuable insight into our political scene.I just hope that the actors have grown up during the past 30yrs of fiddling around, nit that nothing good happened, but power tends to corrupt the minds of stupid people.

Mogoeng Mogoeng for speaker because he is neutral, doesn't align with any political party, he understands the law. Mostly he has shown interest in politics.

The challenge facing South Africa and the ANC is the poor governance experienced over the past decades. This is a crisis. The political debate has to focus on finding a remedy for this crisis of poor governance.
