2:38 Basil 5:09 Rosemary 7:13 Thyme 9:20 Mint 11:57 Chamomile My specific favorites are Thai Basil, such strong flavor and beautiful fragrance, and Spearmint, though Peppermint is definitely the go to for the Saturnalia season.
I'm going to fill my home with pots and seeds this Spring 🌱🥰 Planted marigold and lemon balm today and I'm going to plant these five herbs cause they all can be used in so many ways which I love.
I have all of these in my garden. I also like to grow different varieties of mint and basil. If you cook or make cocktails, you know exactly which fresh herbs you want on hand! lol I did grow chamomile but did not use it very much. I'm going to try to do more with them this year. I would also add chives and thyme to your list of must have herbs. I ended up using them more than I had expected and they add depth to anything you add them to. I would love to do parsley and dill but they don't do well where I live and always die.
You've inspired me to give Basil another try. I find it to be such a challenging plant, whereas my mint growing experience is quicker and easier. I loved this herb video and would vote for more herbal videos with plant explanation, trouble shooting, tea recipes or protection mixes. Keep the great content coming! ✨Blessed Be!!! ✨
They’re mostly super easy to grow as well! Except Rosemary which I feel so drawn to. It’s my tradition to plant rosemary every spring. 12 seedlings so far this year.
tbh whenever I am down and feel tired and apathic I go to your channel. Something about it is so soothing and brings me hope. Not to mention how much Ive learnt from you. Thanks you
@@NYCHFAN I put mine in a big half-barrel in the garden with marigolds in front. They keep the pests off each other and look lovely and the mint comes back every year, even though you have to plan marigold seeds each year. The simple barrel of mint and marigold get the most compliments, isn't that odd? You'd think it was the fancier flowers. :)
🌲🍀🐾💚 So glad to see you're healing. It takes time😔. I've never grown or used chamomile, but just last weekend, I baked two whole fryer chickens that I rubbed with butter & sprinkled with fresh thyme, rosemary, bay leaves, black pepper & poultry seasoning👍. Wish you were there to help me enjoy the carrots & homemade mashed potatoes & gravey too😎. I use thyme in chicken soup & gravy as well. That herb is really something else. Keep healing Annabel, and hugg Grim & Hazelnut 4 me 2🤗💚🐾🍀🌲.
Thank You, that is very useful and inspiring. And your videography is beautiful. What do you think of sage and lavender -- highly used among esoteric practitioners?
I was reading just today about rosemary. It's considered a male energy plant now but apparently, it used to be considered female and it was believed it would not thrive in a garden if the 'woman of the house' did not wear the pants.
Very informative thank you girly!!! Hope everything is well in your personal life, you deserve happiness, good health, and abundance in all aspects of life.
Sabes. Muchas gracias.
I'm so happy you've included thyme! It's one that I've started to grow myself in the past year, and I've found it to be such a wonderful purifying/clarifying herb for clearing out a space. It's quite strong-smelling as a bundle (boy, do I have to toss my windows open) but the after-scent lingers quite awhile and helps the effects seem to stick.
Hi! I will be moving next month and I would love to know how you use rosemary when moving to a new home? I am moving quite far to a new place, and hope for a fresh start in this new home. I love your channel by the way. I have watched so many of your videos as they are very inspiring and beautiful💖. Thank you 😊❤️
I love this video for teaching me more about some herbs and their uses, but I cannot grow any herbs myself for a few reasons with the most prevelient being that I am VERY allergic to pollen. I'll keep this video handy for refrencing the magical properties of these five herbs though!
I absolutely love thyme i grow it every year i have erroded clay soil on my hill and i plant thyme there each year i move a row forward my goal is thyme grass itll slow the errosion while i make soil to help . your videos are so resourceful and kind and i look forward to seeing you appear in my feed
Anyone else hear one of her background piano songs and hear a similar tune to one in Pocahontas where Grandmother Willow sings "Listennnn with your heart, you will understandddd"? I always think of that song when I hear her background piano music.
Can you tell me what kind of chamomile this is? I can’t seem to find anything that looks like it. The leaves remind me of fever few rather than the thin delicate leaves of chamomile I’ve seen. 💚 love your book and channels 😊
Do u know plant name Tulsi? It is considered very holy and spiritual. In Hinduism we worship because it is considered that its soul energy is pure. It is called Holy Basil. Please look it up. I think u will appreciate Her (Holy Basil). Please google it to see what it looks like. If u want to get one, Iskcon or Hare Krishna Temple can help u. They usually have many. Ty. Nice video. Pl make more.
Hello lovely 😊 I was wondering if you can share some of your gardening wisdom with us. My family and I just moved to a new home w room to garden and we keep coming up w questions that I wish I could ask you lol plz share a link if you have a video already or of other videos you agree with that give good gardening advice. Thanks in advance!!! 💚
I can never seem to keep potted rosemary alive. I give it full sun and spritz the leaves when watering, which I do once weekly, and somehow I still experience root rot. My mom insists it prefers to be in the ground, not in a pot. How do you keep yours alive?
Hi, I have a Rosemary going into it's 4th year in a pot. I spritz the leaves a couple times a week BUT it doesn't get any other watering. Maybe once a month I might give it half a cup of water. In summer it goes outside and I don't water it at all.
Is it in a terracotta pot? Plants in general like them because they're breathable. Maybe repot and add sand to the soil, or get soil with it already in it, and use soil with a minimum amount of peat moss to keep it well drained.
Is your dog a White Shepherd? We have a 10 year old white shepherd 🐶 I have a beautiful pot of common mint and peaches and cream mint. Love to use it more ❤
Maybe I should put chamomile in the same pot as all of the plants I try to grow. Otherwise, I have a brown thumb. Are there any other alternatives to Mint? (Allergic to every member of the mint family. The smell alone is repulsive to me.)
I have a genuine question for any one of you open to talk. I have some problems and it's on the spiritual side but i hear ringing and voices and stuff like that I would like to know where I could find my self at doing either tarot cards or a witch never tried nor wanted to get involved but now I think I do..
Just be careful when planting mint, it will absolutely takeover an entire garden and just about choke out everything else, once it takes over an area it’s hard to get rid of.
Eversice i came across your videos and hearing you speak, i just get an blanket of complete calmth & rest all over me

My grandmother grew purple basil. It spreads like wildfire and is said to drive insects out of closets.

This is so perfect! I’ve been looking into what herbs/plants I want to grow this year now that I can have plants.

Just went for a nice spring walk around the property and enjoyed the birds singing in the trees. Thanks Annie. Have a beautiful day🐦
Just repotting some plants while I watch this. I have bad luck with herbs, but my orchid is thriving, and so is my rescued jade plant.

All wonderful herbs. I’ve never grown mint or chamomile.
If you grow mint, kerp it potted or it will pop up everywhere, and nothing will stop it. I learned this the hard way😂.

thyme is great for the throat, for when you have a cold or respiratory infection 🤧🌱

Thank You, that is very useful and inspiring. And your videography is beautiful.

Where did you read about this? I'd love more info about old plant practices

Got your book for my birthday. Thank you for all of your research!
This is wonderful - I need to get more herbs! I lost mine in my recent move so now I only have basil (which I do love)

I am growing basil, oregano, lemon balm and chamomil indoor in pots. I find rosemary and thyme hard to grow

Water by feel of the soil, not timeframe. Only water when the soil has dried out. Rosemary and lavender thrive on neglect.
@@Brodmann312 I tried that with my last attempt 😂 rosemary hates me lol

Good idea
Love your bandana, where did you get it?
Is your dog a White Shepherd? We have a 10 year old white shepherd 🐶
I have a beautiful pot of common mint and peaches and cream mint. Love to use it more ❤
Would love to know what books are in your 2024 list! Love fantasy genre ❤ need inspo
4:18 That “resting witch face” though lol
What do you mean?
Where is the other dog?
When you use mint to fortify a spell, are you using it dried and then burn it?
CC needs to learn how spell thyme.

Sadly, everything I try to grow dies....quickly😅🥲
