I also compared it with Samsung Galaxy S22, 1Plus 9RT and Iqoo 9T, the photos captured by Oppo Reno 8 Pro was better in every respect. However, 1Plus 9RT also took very marvellous photos. But the premium design and awesome look makes Oppo perfect 1. I loved it holding in my hands.

I am Korean and I'm so into oppo reno 8 pro+ but all I'm worrying is the reno 8 is too expensive as a "middle range" smartphone and also have no water proof and no dust proof certification and no service center in Korea...that means if I dropped my smartphone and then ill have no chance to revive my smartphone..but out of these things oppo reno 8 pro+ is such a nice smartphone i personally like the design and the battery charge speed is so impressive I hope we have at least one oppo service center...

when you mentioned about overheat, does it mean totally affect phone usage mean cannot use the phone for a while until it cool down? does it overheat even like daily normal usage, video streaming, multitasking?
Overheating usually happened when the phone is under heavy task, like gaming, editing video, or benchmarking, if you don't do this kind of stuff, your device is pretty good
If oppo and other brands cut the BS 8+2 sensor and upgrade the sensors... I'll buy it but for a premium price i am going for samsung or apple period...If samsung would collaborate with,leica,zeiss,marisilicon,etc....it will be OP....

Galaxy s22 for me. Love the design of the Reno 8 but wish it was the size of the s22 in stead of being that wide like the iPhone Max which is very uncomfortable to hold and use everyday.(for me)
I got the Oppo Reno 8 Pro since a week and have tried the camera. Main camera is very good, wide is OK, but macro sucks as it has only a 4 cm fixed focus. About video there is no +- EV exposure/brightness control only in Pro photo mode!? Selfie camera gives sharp but somewhat overexposed images, but once again no +- EV control! This can ofcourse be changed in postedit, but I think this feature is usually a standard on all cameras, so I don´t understand why Oppo doesn´t have implemented it on their video mode!?
I think it's time to pitch Oppo Reno 8 Pro against Nothing One phone. Almost similar price bracket if I'm not mistaken. By the way, I know it may sounds silly but I think you should mention the locations of your photo shoot. Hence, great pictures undoubtedly.
Seems like oppo's regional pricing is not very competitive. Malaysian pricing is way off. A direct conversion ($575= est RM2560) and costing RM3499. Something's ain't right. Definitely will impact oppo's volume sales in Malaysia.
