I appreciate you taking the time to make this video. My 39 year old son has astrocytoma grade 4 diagnosed in 2015. Appreciate you sharing your story and addressing the elephant in the room.

Best of luck to him. It’s rough but good things can come of it, it has for me 😊

You have an amazing attitude! I'm waiting post surgery (6 weeks) for my tumor biopsy. I'm not frightened, but would love to spend more time with my grandchildren. I'm 62.

Hey. I have a grade 2 Astro as well. I’m 30 years old. I had a resection 3 months ago. Does your tumor have the IDH mutation?

    • @JasonGastley

It does it has the idh1 mutation. Which does help a little.

@@JasonGastley Mine too. Did your oncologist talk to you at all about taking Tibsovo? My oncologist isn't even going to have me do chemo or radiation unless it transforms into a grade 3 or 4. The new IDH inhibitors like Tibsovo are showing a lot of promise. So far the plan for me is to keep watching the residual tumor that's left over from my resection. The neurosurgeon & oncologist both say it's hard to tell how much is still in there. I'm just going to keep getting MRIs every 3 months and whenever we start to see changes they're going to start me on Tibsovo.
