i want to thank you for all your videos , you gave me a lot of information on pomp fishing and it helped me a lot last week . I fished the National Gulf Shore beach in Navarre for 3 days last week and ended up with a total of 8 pomps with the biggest one being 18" and 6 whiting with the biggest being 19" , I feel i did well for a guy down from Wisconsin fishing pomps for the first time. again Thank You!!

I need a day like that. Wednesday, I spent a little over 5 hours on Honeymoon Island: one pinfish, one really short trout, two catfish, two short whiting, and my final fish was a 15 inch Jack. So, nothing for the table but still fun. Fishgum and salted shrimp and clams. The jack on fishbites and Gulp sand flea! Thanks for the quality of your videos and the always interesting content.

I travel to the Fairhope area for work on a regular basis and managed to bring some friends down this time and spend some time out at Gulf Shores. We went beach fishing on Saturday and I got my first Pomp! It was about 15 inches to the fork and gorgeous. Can't wait to spend more time down that way.

Hate strong winds directly from the side. Makes casting tough and current rough (drags everything into the shore). Given the conditions you were dealing with, I think you did very well 😁🎣. Several nice fish, I probably would have kept a couple of those for lunch and dinner 🍽

He fishes the Halco Twisty on a lot of videos. I’ve had good luck with Kastmasters or Sea Striker spoons, 1 or 2 oz depending on conditions.

I don’t think Fred likes you very much. I hate fishing with birds bothering me particularly when I catch a sea gull or Pelican and have to untangle them out of my line. I’m going to get another good pair of sunglasses since I broke my Maui Jim ones :( you might not have a tournament winner but those were beautiful Pompano. If you caught them up here in NC they would be trophies. I would freak out if I saw a Pompano come out of the water while I was fishing. Loved the video!
