Funny is that it first happened on accident, it's fun to find new glitches on a game which is 20/21 years old
The devs just have the collision box for the ring out too close to the wall. It probably would be better for them to have something that checks the velocity of the player when they leave the ring as well.
I had a feeling something like this would've happened at some point but that's wild
