- This is a Rockseed Programmable 30V/10A DC Power Supply Variable, Adjustable Switching Regulated Power Supply. Excessive noise at the output terminals and also RFI/EMI emanating from the unit itself causing interference to my various radio receivers.
I like this power supply. It has awesome features and I would give it 5 starts if it was not so noisy.
If you're not going to send it back, fix it! I bought a cheap ps on ebay, it was trashy. There are a few you tube videos on the very unit I bought. Three components and it is ok now until I take the cover off. Also you have big window on the front where the leds are. Your problem is really bad, loose ground maybe?
Yep it's really bad Jerry. Radiates EMI to other radios on the bench. I really should have gone right for a linear PS.
I may have seen that same video as you did. I almost bought this Kaiweets unit.

Eddie's really into taming this beast and all the noise that comes with it.
I sent the Rockseed back today and ordered the Tekpower TP-3005D-3 linear PS.
Seems like it may be just what will work for me.

I have an astron 50amp linear power supply, it's heavy, and quite. The 10amp smps is light and quite, but I had to work on to get it that way.
@@jerrydaugherty3781 Those Astron's are great PS's. I got an old one from early 1980's. No meters. Need to pull it out of retirement and give it a check out.
sorry for asking this as its not related to your video but have you tried the CV and CC feature on this PSU . I tried charging a battery cell at some voltage but this PSU shifted from CC to CV before that set point was reached . please let me know if you have faced a similar issue too , thanks
Honestly I did not experiment with charging batteries like you have. When I found out it was too noisy for my radio receivers, I returned the unit and purchased a linier power supply.
