I have watched this battle like 20 times since it was released. Everytime I watch it, it becomes harder to give Swave anything but the first round. ICE's second and third rounds were legend. I'm sorry for those who didn't get the bars ICE spit. Them shits was fire. It's like he came out in the first with jokes, after hearing Swave's first he realized Swave came to fight. But once ICE went on his G shit, Swave got what he wanted: To see his icon rap.
Came back to this battle almost 10 years later and its a classic. These are the type of battles that stand the test of time. Ice has subtle lines that you catch a decade later
"Talkin like your weight right will get your in your grave site, SEE me clearly.." Dual meaning of SITE/SIGHT in the next bar because it continues with "SEE me clearly..." Also, the bars before all pertain to Swave's eyesight hence the sequence starting by Ice calling him "Foggy"
