Lucky to have seen him live in Auckland, 1987, with Everly Bros, BB King & Chuck Berry . What a concert ! But by then Jerry had been playing 14 nights straight in Aussie for a R&R Extravaganza, & was burned out .Did a set of 5 songs as fast as he could & left the stage to boos. Even Chuck was flummoxed as he was ready to do duo/triplet/quartet with him & then all of them .But Jerry just hit the wall after the set & ran ! Pity as the whole night was unforgettable. Got me into R&R dancing for the next 40 years! 🎶🎵🎼🎷🎸🎹🥁📻
I have one more thing to say, There will never be another to match Jerry Lee Lewis. I have been a musician for about 30years now, and Jerrys music has had lots of influence on me, and he will always be the king as far as I am concerned.
Why does Jerry Lee have different color hair in every era? Did he dye his hair or wear wigs?? I just watched a clip of him in the 50's and he looked like he had blonde hair. In other clips he appears to have reddish hair and sometimes his hair looks jet black.

The only music today that I like is Alan Jackson, George Strait, Randy Travis, Clint Black and Dwight Yoakam.
