I’m always interested when I hear aluminum frame Glock. I grew up in Claremont, so no lie, I may have to get this for that stamp in the slide alone. Nostalgia comfort is real. Didn’t realize Claremont had a plant there
Local as well.. I've known about matrix for a while with their lowers. I checked their website and see this. I'm definitely looking as adding it to my collection.
NGL I didn’t even know Matrix was a thing until I saw one of their lowers at a local shop and was like damn I didn’t know anything good came out of my old hometown. Saw these and was just in love
Excellent review and video! Keep Rocking it, Brother! I am excited to hear about this gun as I am very interested in acquiring one. This was one of the best reviews for this model.
Dig the review. Just ordered the Elite frame. I plan to run it with the ARC Division Reactor 19 slide with GGP slide parts kit, XS Big dot tritium sights, RMR, and TLR-1. Probably going to run the Werkz holsters M6 (for AIWB), and the M7 (for OWB). My daily carry has been various Glocks and Glock clones for the last 20 years. I’ve carried other pistols but prefer my G19.
You really don't stick with a edc gun very long do you, lol. May of 21 it was the s&w shield plus, then Feb 22 it was either a Glock or Sig 365, now it's another, lol.
He’s an influencer he gets stuff sent to him for nothing at times. And take what he says with a grain of salt he samples a bunch of guns for EDC but doesn’t necessarily mean he’s actually switching to that gun everyday at the end of the day he has a preference too but he’s still gotta make money too
@@ltx383 Never said people only have 1 firearm, but most people tend to stick to 1 CC gun because that gun could save their life and they need to know that gun forward, backwards and every which way. And that takes time and lots of drills which most people don't have time to keep doing from scratch every few months for every new great gun that comes on the market. You notice i said most not all, some people are more fickle than most and love carrying the new best ccw every time one comes around. While i've owned lots of handguns in the last 40 something years i've only cc 5 in those years. I would never carry a gun i hadn't done extensive training with, i'm lucky with my busy life if i get to the range once a month to keep my skills somewhat fresh and shoot a few of my other guns a little.
Haha I like my variety, what can I say? Also, different gun setups for different wardrobes, climates, etc. now that it’s getting colder, I can carry a g19 size significantly easier than I can in the hot weather because of additional layers.
@@greenlightshooting1 I’m all the way with you. I don’t buy firearms that are inherently unreliable. If I ever came across a dud I’d dump it. Majority of the people that say they do extensive testing have maybe 3 mags of rounds thru they’re gun and can barely hit paper. I was really digging this setup until I came across the Sig Macro with metal grip module. Time for a comparison vid!
Very similar to ZEV OZ9 Would've liked to have seen more range footage showing rapid fire bursts with slow motion replays. I don't recall seeing the iron sights? Type and sight picture? My EDC SIG P229 Legion 9mm Also heavy top of the range model that ounce for ounce worth carrying over the more basic models IMHO As you correctly added, with the correct / suitable set-up (holster -belt)
why would I buy their glock 19 when I can buy a glock 19? they have 1000.00 g19's. that's actually 2 g19's. why would I pay 1000.00 for their g19 when I can buy a fnh 45 tactical? the guns do look nice though.
I don’t entirely believe there’s zero flex in glock frames when firing. Pinching the magwell of my glocks they flex. However,I believe the flex/distortion is just like the ak flex that got “debunked” for it effecting it’s accuracy. Like 👆🏼 he said this is a paid review. so pushing the envelope on truths/myths is pretty easy when receiving a free gun for review.
@@governmentcalamari9785 you are talking about the hollow mag well not where the slide is. If there is flex it is not noticeable on slow motion camera and it most certainly does not affect the gun as he tries to say
Flex or not, there’s a reason you can’t get as tight tolerances on a polymer frame. I just shot my MX19 for the first time and I doubt I’ll ever touch my polymer glocks ever again.
I mean, relatively speaking I guess. I only have so long from the gun arriving to when the video has to be out. And trust me, a lot of guns I’m sent malfunction plenty of times in those first 300 rounds.

This is very cool. I’m definitely interested. Thank you very much for sharing it with us.
I have that slide on some of my P80 builds, top quality stuff. Will definitely get that aluminum frame eventually.
Good to see you back. I've got an idea for a vid, Steyr C9 A2 MF.
Starsky & Hutch:
Do It. Do It.
I wish these were still at the pricepoint you mentioned lol The MX19 is now going for $1700.
I could buy two Turkish MP5's with that money.
would you recommend this for a concealed carry?
What weight of guide rod would everyone recommend for this kind of heavy frame set up in an EDC type set up?
I don’t need it… I don’t need it…
I definitely don’t need it…

it’s a good thing I hate money

@@MrDalon37 I love it a lot. I would definitely recommend getting the one with the lighter trigger.
Can the slide work on a Glock 19 oem frame?
Don't get me wrong that gun is cool but what watch were you wearing in this video?
I’ve heard reliability issues with these and for a 1k Glock, I can’t justify it when I could get a 1911 for that if it doesn’t run reliably
How does the weight feel?
👍😊

Aluminum frame is a lot more expensive to manufacture. Matrix is a world class manufacturer. I’d put their stuff against anyone in the business.
@@jeremyjeremy8795 that's it the expense of manufacturing? Nothing about durability or weight? Do you own any glocks? How do they compare?
I wouldn't dare torture test it but I doubt it is messin with glock in that area.
