I have an SL-Wood B3 made in Arroyo Grande with Lollar '50s wind P90s and it's A W E S O M E . Gene conceives and builds great and very underrated instruments. Bet these Japanese made ones are great as well, at an even more affordable price. Beautiful and very versatile guitars ! Before you think Gibby or PRS, go and have a peek at those 🎸👍🏻
Hey Gene, Awesome guitars especially at this price pt. Cant wait for the relic model like the tv yellow usa model! Keep up the great work brother! Chris Orpheum
@@MrMariodraiby1 Gene's first brand was Baker, which was sold to Ed Roman years ago. Roman built some inexpensive imports under that brand for a while but hasn't done anything with the name in over a decade. Gene has been building guitars as b3 for quite some time now.
And for all of you fellow Ronnie Montrose fans, Ronnie played a few of these guitars over the years. However, just for clarity, Ronnie played them when they where still "Baker Guitars", before Gene sold the name to Ed Roman.

Thanks, Rene! Cheers!
@@b3guitars3 You bet Gene !
I’m more than happy with my SL-K. Glad I got a silver one when I did
That does it. I need a B3.
Nice guitar! I was wondering what pickups Ronnie Montrose used on his Bakers. I read somewhere he had a DiMarzio Air Zone and Virtual PAF combo.
The same Gene Baker from Full Tilt?

How is the balance on these? Hopefully not neck heavy?
Where can i get that guitar? How much?
I'll have one someday! It will complement my GB Mighty Mouse shredder...
Nice. That baby sounds amazing. Them PAF' S are Rad.
What's the cost of the guitar in this video?
I love my 2003 Super B. Glad to see the coil splits are now standard. Are these short scale?
Yes, they are 24 3/4 like a Les Paul :)
Thats the guitar that ed romans starts?
No, the Ed Roman estate has no association at all with the b3 Guitars brand.
b3 Guitars u r gene baker guitars? Noah henson from pillar owned one

Is it American brand or Japanese , Which is it ?. I've never seen them reviewed by anyone .. the channels i follow ..
B3 is an American brand, but sl-k is a line of guitar produced in Japan. Think of James Tyler guitars made in Japan.
The SL-K was designed by Gene Baker for the b3 brand here in the states, and they are produced in Japan.

レスポールは中3くらいからあこがれてたけど、
やっぱり弾き辛い😁
たけどこのSL-Kは所謂ライクなサウンドが出る❗
PRSに慣れた俺には右手の置場所を掴む迄やるしかねぇ❗
Ok video, but why that annoying background music, while presenting the guitar??
The Korean B1 Baker is pretty good too
If fender and prs had a baby
More like Gibby and prs had a baby
@@eddiem4868 thats probably more accurate..though im not sure what pray is?
