You are completely correct. The initiative to study for some of us is internal. Also, it isnt bad to want to have pretty things around because they make us feel very good too. Regardless, thank you for your videos!
Perfect Video! I feel Like the most overrated studytube trend is the Stationary hauls and other Notebooks, Stick notes, Color Pencils, Sketch Pens etc. Because, It is simple an overrated amount of Stationery To get creative and beautiful notes, I think having a basic amount of stationary to get you through all your Notes, School Activities, Art and etc. Is just going to be enough. Great Video, Waiting for more 😄❤
yay glad you liked it!! and I think stationery hauls (or hauls in general) are fine if they're clearly for giveaways or going to be donated after; otherwise I think it can be a bit awkward if somebody's having an enormous haul every other month just for themselves xD
I honestly realized after a while and after this video was investing in an iPad for just note-taking is too much for an hs student, and that I agree it's better for someone who needs like so much note taking and in hs I wouldn't fill note-taking that much
So glad you said this out loud especially the esthetic bujo and notetaking used to stress me out so much and finally realizing it's not a necessity but all about what works for us☺✨
Amazing. Can we just appreciate all the time she puts into her videos. Kudos I agree with you all the way since bullet journaling can get a bit hard at times, and doing bullet journaling with notion is much easier. Once again great job Estella!!
Just watching this video gets me excited to go study. Thanks Stella! I currently have all A’s in grad school so far! As someone who never had these grades in high school or for the most part of undergrad I’m very happy I started watching your channel 🥺
I love what you did for the Bujos! I started one way back in college to try and organize myself and be all cute and stuff BUT I tried to follow what other people were doing with theirs. Not only did it stress me out when my pages didn’t look like their pages, but I hardly used it because it was too much work. So I quit on it. Fast forward to February of last year and I decided to start up again. I got a new; much cheaper, book and worked out my pages on some junk paper. Again I tried too hard and got a little burnt out, but then I was like, why am I making pages that have a bazillion things to draw up/fully color/about things I wouldn’t use? So I just made super simplistic pages and a lot fewer for each month. I also let myself skip full months where I just didn’t feel like making pages. So I’m still going strong with my journal and it looks SO different from what ai restarted with in February 2021!!! TLDR: just do what you want and try your best not to get upset over small mistakes.
Yes, I’m happy for you. Bullet journaling is a really difficult thing for people who simply don’t have as much time and copying others just doesn’t work for you because your lifestyle is very different. You should find out what you like and match them with the things you need. You’ll end up having your own personal style and not stress about trying to fit on a shoe that simply isn’t yours.
i think an iPad is the best for college, university. my sister who is in university got an ipad pro (5th gen) and she always has it with her. it’s honestly so helpful for her and she loves it, i definitely recommend getting an iPad for studying!😹
I was not up for studying today, until I saw your video in my recommendation!! Started watching your videos for a few 30 minutes and then I just said “lets study!!”, your aesthetic is so calming and amazing!! I love ur channel ;333
I've not been feeling motivated and ho to study , but your videos are so aesthetic and they encourages/motivate me to study. You r a Queen , Estella Queen🦸♀️
for me personnally... I prefer like sorta aestehtic in a way but like pretty and neat notes because they make me enjoy studying and all... always stick to what works for you!
5:52 Omg what the heck, it's me! 😂 Thank you for saying I summed it up well, Estella! It 100% varies from person to person, and someone with """"messy"'"" notes (heavy quotes there) can have the exact grades as someone with pretty, aesthetic, and colorful notes. I didn't mention this is my original comment, but another point to make with that is that some of us who used to struggle with studying are finding it easier *thanks to* the whole aesthetic-ness trend. I'm autistic, and a lot of us neurodivergent people heavily struggle to accomplish tasks that we aren't actively passionate about or interested in. Making my daily readings, notes, and assignments something that I look forward to has really shot up my grades. It's less "wow taking beautiful perfect notes will give you beautiful perfect grades". Its more that turning studying into something that I actively enjoy has made me actually do my schoolwork for far more hours of my day. Anyways, there's another spiel nobody asked me for 🤭 Thank you again for putting my comment in your video! (You're my favorite youtuber, so needless to say i texted all my friends about it lol)
hehe yep it's you!!xD And aw thank youuuuu, that's so cool that you texted your friends about it!!:D I also absolutely agree with your point that the "aesthetic notes" trend can actually help and motivate people rather than stress them out and make studying more fun- I had a period just after high school where I felt completely burned out from studying but once I started making my notes look cooler it helped me get back into it and finally enjoy it again!:) I have a family member who's autistic as well and struggles with focus/school, and I know fun apps & visuals have helped him a lot too. Thanks so much for all your detailed comments and support!!
Writing with pen on paper builds longer lasting muscle memory, they are not distractive and also not harmful for our eyes. Tablets are better option for in class quick note taking but for home work and revision work : pen, pencil & paper are the best option.
i already have an ipad air 4- i got it for christmas since digital art is one of my many passions! i have juvenile arthritis, and it hurts to write on paper most of the time- i figured out my ipad is the perfect thing to take notes on! i don't have a paperlike screen protector, it messes with my sensory issues. i find the smooth screen easier on my hand when i'm writing, anyway! if i was just using it for school, it wouldn't be worth the money. i'm using it for art too, but if you're not, it's not super life changing. just makes my life a tiny bit easier
Listen, I am 40 years old and hate how loaded I am with work. But I get motivated with all the colors, organization and all the stuff people say unnecessary 😅 Love your video, they keep me motivated ❤️
My notes are neat and I love to do something aesthetic, like with the same colours for the same topic, or using masking tape, black pen to write, midliners to highlight or for the titles, a coloured pen for the important words... I'm a visual and kinestesic learner so writing notes and having them neat helps me learn and makes me wanna watch them
From a new Notion user like me, the response I get from my habits after using it is a lot better tbh. I avoided it for a year and then just went for it. It's a lot easier with a template too. I spent 2 days to get a grip and it's my buddy now to dump every, everrrrry task in it! ❤
I love your new "way" of creating content. You sound more confident and more comfortable.Thank you for the tips. I hope you reach 2 million before the end of the year 💕
good info Estella. I think some people forget how individual studying and productivity can be. Products or trends can help you but not your friend and vice versa.
Hi hi college student here who organises with bullet journals! The thing brought up about unnecessary spreads is true, and there are ways to find out what is right for you even when you are a newcomer. A bujo does not have to be consistent, hence the beauty of the system. I have a spread in mine called “revision” and it’s for me to take notes each month on what spreads worked, what didn’t, improvements in the order in which I drew my spreads, how much I ended up using my journal, what things in my life would I like to add to my bujo and then make the necessary changes when I make the spreads for next month. Start with a template from someone else, slowly then filter out or add spreads to your liking and make it yours. No one will or has to see your bujo. I have never shown mine on the internet and have felt proud of it. Stickers are definitely a good alternative if you can’t draw or don’t have the time to. Don’t use time decorating, use time organising. Like a standard planner, if you don’t organise in it, it’s still useless. You don’t have to fill in all the fancy trackers and even studytubers have admitted that they at times don’t fill in their trackers. It’s okay. Also, I honestly don’t think in this day and age that anyone ONLY uses a bujo. The traditional medium is nice for me because I get to feel proud of something I made, it doesn’t run out of battery (my curse) and it’s compatible with things I use like sticky notes or those random notepad papers I slip into mine when in a pinch or receiving business cards. But to fit into my studies and work, I have opted to digitalise some trackers I need into digital spreads on notion. They look in essence like the ones in my bujo but are just digital where I can have them on any device, paste links and emails into, set phone reminders etc. That’s where I organise my YT, University work and digital media volunteer work, the most important stuff. Oh and never underestimate the use of a small brain dump page. Having a messy random notes or doodles corner helps keep the rest neat and tidy. Conclusion: Bujo isn’t art. It’s a form of organisation. You can decorate a bujo only if you want to and have time. No one has to see your bujo. Find ways to simplify your bujo and adapt it slowly to your life and needs. You don’t have to use only a bujo, use it along with other tools to better your life, take all the advantages and none of the drawbacks by diversifying, simplifying and adapting. And finally, a messy journal is still a beautiful handcrafted journal.
When I take notes I like to use some colors and I like to make my notes pretty, personally because it kinds of want to make me study more. But it kinds of take too much time and effort, so I mostly use boxes for important things and make some word/sentence bigger. And it still helps in in studying.

personally, pretty notes are very effective for me, because they motivate me to study and i can do it pretty quick. some tips for simple but aesthetic notetaking are only using a pen (i use muji) and some highlighters/markers (i use mildliners) although this is not for everyone and you certainly dont need this for good grades, i dont think its overrated

Hey Estella, I would just like to say I love your videos, I can’t stop watching them!! I think a video on the concept of missing out on class for whatever reason and how to approach a gigantic pile of missed study would be immensely helpful. I also think this is fitting because a lot of people are falling ill as a result of contacting COVID 19. I really do hope you consider this idea!! Thank you so much for taking the time to edit and film these videos as I am sure you have been an inspiration to many people (especially me) Someone I know has commenced university again after the lengthy time of ten years and your videos have really helped her feel comfortable with study again. I love your concepts and your channel, good luck with the rest of the school year!! ❤️❤️ Edit: OMG thx so much for replying!!
wow that's amazing that someone you know is going back to uni after 10 years- wishing her all the best!!:D And I think that topic could definitely tie into a "how to stop procrastinating" video since it's ties into the feeling of being overwhelmed by too much work; I could definitely do a vid like that!:)
9:53 I so agree on this! Buying an ipad for school in unnecessary if you don't use it in school specifically the ipad pros. Since covid hit an ipad may be necessary but the ipad 9th gen is still so capable for school. If you are going to use it in F2F classes then I recommend the Ipad air 5th gen as it has the M1 chip. It has a larger display, great for heavy editing and just overall good on cost and value :)
When it comes to notes, the ones i used to take in class used to(sometimes still do) look like dog shxt. My method to improve this is baisically to take kind of neatish notes with a normal black pen in class and then when i go thru them later, i "decorate" them like i under line the bold up the headers and underline the or highlight imp points and draw boxes around formulas and drawings. All in all slightly decorated notes do help me retain more info and do better in exams
It's so cool that you have so many things on your study table, I'm saving my money so I could buy stuffs for my study table hehe. You're such an inspiration for me
Yep. I definetly agree with you. I'm starting high school soon and I have a bit of stationary, iPad 7th gen, apple pencil and that's it!! And that's all I need to survive high school! This really helped my opinion balance with what others think (even though that's not the point) that's for all the time and effort you put into this just to help us all :) we really appreciate it 😊
I think you are right I was about to get a new iPad even though I have MacBook but I was thinking that the iPad would help me to get good grades but turns out that's not the case thank you loved this video 💗 - thanks
Finally, someone in this vommunity speaks of this matter. In my opinion I am obsessed with aesthetic stationary, but it is quite expensive and not worth it, fancy notes usually slow me down but i never stop 😂 that is bcz i make the notes atleast alot of time before the exams
I love your videos, I just started watching them and imminently subscribed. Your videos made me feel so motivated, except I don't have a stylus, stationary, or big room (as I share it with my sister). I need advice on how to make my little studying area big enough for me to do as much work as you to achieve my dream job. thank you so much for making these motivating videos. ;)
I have ADHD, so having a stationary/study space does help me. I'm working on rearranging my bedroom to have my own work space. A clean and organized space puts me in a good mood to get things done.
So true, it doesn't mean if the thing is expensive, it's going to be good. If it's working well for someone that doesn't mean it's going to work well for you too because your and their needs/requirements are different.
about the ipad, i bought the 9th gen in october last year and considering i am only a junior in high school i use it a lot more than i expected, giving i can’t use it in all my classes, we do lots of presentations and essays on google docs so it’s very convenient instead of caring around my laptop.
Thank you so much for motivating me with your videos. I hope your channel gets bigger and our big family gets bigger. Your channel is very soft and aesthetic. I love your channel!
I really don't like when people talk bad about "aesthetic" study habits. I think they only become a problem when one feels like they have to have pretty notes and obsesses over their looks rather than their content. My notes definitely are not "aesthetic," but making pretty titles motivates me to study and gives me more confidence. I know that I don't really have the time to make all of my notes pretty, and I generally end up with a lot of arrows on my page. The hate for pretty stuff happens with planners, too. I remember in my freshman year of college a guy made a point of approaching me and telling me that the washi tape in my planner was useless. Like, okay? Then don't use it
i’m in middle school and i love using my ipad at school! it helps a lot in math and spanish because the large packets are hard to carry around and it saves paper! i also use it to just take notes
tbh aesthetic notes have helped me get better grades because the prettier it looks the more I retain and go back and revise, and my teacher approves of my notetaking. my handwriting has also improved a lot when I started using this method. though, I have friends who take way better notes than me yet still don't get grades as good as mine, so I guess good notetaking isn't the only factor to good notes.
Hi! Even though I'm late, I just want to thank you for motivating me. I wasn't interested in studying, stationaries, and organizing until I met your channel! Now I'm aiming higher, and buying a lot of stationaries, lol! Your study with me videos are the best.Thank you for motivating and inspiring me!

@@StudyToSuccess Lol yes
Tysm!!💖
Just watching this video gets me excited to go study. Thanks Stella! I currently have all A’s in grad school so far! As someone who never had these grades in high school or for the most part of undergrad I’m very happy I started watching your channel 🥺
Me and my crush were obsessed with aesthetic journals, cute things and he introduced me to your channel
And I must say you're amazing
that's so cool that you both like aesthetic journals/items!! Sending love to both of you :)
I love how you have all your stuff organized and that has changed my life and now I can find the things I need.
Omg you are really the inventor of aesthetics! I would love it if you tour your bullet journal someday!
You’ll end up having your own personal style and not stress about trying to fit on a shoe that simply isn’t yours.
it's so great that you found a balance and what works for you!! I also make lots of simplistic pages, especially for the internal monthly spreads :)
ahh Estella has the most aesthetic, motivating and creative videos ever!
too good to be true
I love your videos so much! You were the one who inspired me to create my channel! Thank you!
i think an iPad is the best for college, university. my sister who is in university got an ipad pro (5th gen) and she always has it with her. it’s honestly so helpful for her and she loves it, i definitely recommend getting an iPad for studying!😹
The discipline this women has is something I will never have. Thank U.
This is the earliest I’ve been to this channel. Here’s to more inspiration, stationery and cool videos 👏🏽
5:52 Omg what the heck, it's me! 😂
Thank you for saying I summed it up well, Estella!
Tablets are better option for in class quick note taking but for home work and revision work : pen, pencil & paper are the best option.
when estella uploads a new video it makes us so happy! thank you so much Estella!
I don't want much for my birthday. I just want the person reading this to be healthy, happy and loved. Wishing you a good day!
I just absolutely love your videos your asthetic your bloopers and your creativity literally you are the best
Estela is one of those people who do what is right even when they are not willing to. We love you, Estella. Love from India
I love how organized you are!
Sooo true
Everythink in her video is really cute and relaxing😀
Yeaa it's true!!
She is always organized!
And me 💀
i already have an ipad air 4- i got it for christmas since digital art is one of my many passions! i have juvenile arthritis, and it hurts to write on paper most of the time- i figured out my ipad is the perfect thing to take notes on! i don't have a paperlike screen protector, it messes with my sensory issues. i find the smooth screen easier on my hand when i'm writing, anyway! if i was just using it for school, it wouldn't be worth the money. i'm using it for art too, but if you're not, it's not super life changing. just makes my life a tiny bit easier
Listen, I am 40 years old and hate how loaded I am with work. But I get motivated with all the colors, organization and all the stuff people say unnecessary 😅 Love your video, they keep me motivated ❤️
Aesthetic as everrrr ahhhhh❤️❤️😍😍😍
My notes are neat and I love to do something aesthetic, like with the same colours for the same topic, or using masking tape, black pen to write, midliners to highlight or for the titles, a coloured pen for the important words...
I'm a visual and kinestesic learner so writing notes and having them neat helps me learn and makes me wanna watch them
How much hardwork you do to just make one video for us. Thank you so much
Estella i love you very much! Your videos are cozy and cute!
From a new Notion user like me, the response I get from my habits after using it is a lot better tbh. I avoided it for a year and then just went for it. It's a lot easier with a template too. I spent 2 days to get a grip and it's my buddy now to dump every, everrrrry task in it! ❤
AAAAA SHE POSTED
I love your new "way" of creating content. You sound more confident and more comfortable.Thank you for the tips.
I hope you reach 2 million before the end of the year 💕
good info Estella. I think some people forget how individual studying and productivity can be. Products or trends can help you but not your friend and vice versa.
yep that's a great way to put it!:)
Except the AMAZING video you uploaded as always,
is anyone gonna talk about YOUR ANGELIC VOICE!?
I love u your so productive and aesthetic
I love this video. "Here are the arguments, do what you want!"
When I take notes I like to use some colors and I like to make my notes pretty, personally because it kinds of want to make me study more. But it kinds of take too much time and effort, so I mostly use boxes for important things and make some word/sentence bigger. And it still helps in in studying.
same here, it definitely make studying more fun!:)
Thank you Estella for always motivating me and others. Before, I didn’t like studying or following a routine. Im so grateful that I came across your channel. Now my life’s turned uphill cuz of you. Take love~ ♡♡
hii!! love ur videos! 💖💖
Omg! No doubt you are the best! It’s so great to see your videos and I owe you a big thank you! Since I have started seeing your videos my study has gone to another level. I have seen so much improvements in me. Thank you study to success for all that inspiration you’ve given me and I am definitely looking forward to seeing more of your amazing videos. I must say you are my role model. Wish I could share my success with you but I’d like to take a step back and thank you for everything that you’ve helped me with.
that's amazing to hear, thank you!!
Estella, you are the best RUclipsr ever, I really appreciate all the work you do to make such amazing videos for us, you are a truly amazing person who has made a big positive impact on my life… like, a HUGE impact. It is very fun to watch your videos and they ALWAYS make my day 20x better than than it is. Thank you for all the amazing videos you have made so far, I look forward to seeing more😊
personally, pretty notes are very effective for me, because they motivate me to study and i can do it pretty quick. some tips for simple but aesthetic notetaking are only using a pen (i use muji) and some highlighters/markers (i use mildliners) although this is not for everyone and you certainly dont need this for good grades, i dont think its overrated
Vid finally came!!!! Thank you Estella, ready to dive in and watch this ✨ colourfilled ✨ exciting vid! OMFG I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE MARCH BULLET JOURNAL DESIGN 🍯
Yay!!🥰💖🐝
yeeeeeeeeeesssssss she posted LETS GOOOOOOO!!! sorry a bit too excited, I have been waiting for soooooolong and she POSTED yaaaay!! Great vid!!! Can't wait for the study with meeee!
Omg I was just checking if you posted 😂
great video as always Estella! I find that making my notes look pretty keeps me motivated because it's fun, even though it can be time consuming, it keeps me engaged and looking forward to study sessions
that's so great to hear, and I can totally relate!! :)
It's actually the sound the keyboard makes that makes me feel that it's so good....It feels really calming to me at least
I’ve been with u since 600 and don’t regret it
I was waiting so so much for Estella's videos....I love them so much💖... Those are giving me motivation like no one....
Yes, Estella has something magical😇🤭☺
Edit: OMG thx so much for replying!!
wow that's amazing that someone you know is going back to uni after 10 years- wishing her all the best!!:D And I think that topic could definitely tie into a "how to stop procrastinating" video since it's ties into the feeling of being overwhelmed by too much work; I could definitely do a vid like that!:)
I love your videos! You are beautiful inside and out and your videos really inspire me.
AHHHH SEND HELPPP, here in South America we are in back-to-school time and I start classes tomorrow!!!
Me tooooo
Check out her back to school and backpack vids (if u need them) 😉
OMG ESTELLA EVERY TIME U UPLOAD A VIDEO MY DAY GETS BETTER
Yeaa!! She makes our day more better 🥰🌸🧚
You're such an inspiration for me
I love the handwriting when you write your titles! It looks really pretty :) bye have a good day!

Amazing video I loved it!! Great job Estella❤️
Yeaa 😽🦋
Always here with the best content ever thank you!
Yeaa 😌🧚
Yep. I definetly agree with you. I'm starting high school soon and I have a bit of stationary, iPad 7th gen, apple pencil and that's it!! And that's all I need to survive high school! This really helped my opinion balance with what others think (even though that's not the point) that's for all the time and effort you put into this just to help us all :) we really appreciate it 😊
glad the video helped and I absolutely agree with you! Best of luck with the rest of high school!!:)
@@StudyToSuccess thanks and good luck with the rest of uni :) I really appreciate you taking the time to reply to me
I think you are right I was about to get a new iPad even though I have MacBook but I was thinking that the iPad would help me to get good grades but turns out that's not the case thank you loved this video 💗
- thanks
Finally, someone in this vommunity speaks of this matter. In my opinion I am obsessed with aesthetic stationary, but it is quite expensive and not worth it, fancy notes usually slow me down but i never stop 😂 that is bcz i make the notes atleast alot of time before the exams
This was a really great video and covered a lot of study tube trends 🔥and of course the aesthetic✨💫
Beautifully done....
LOVE YOUR VIDEOS AND YOU!!!🥰🥺💕
I love your videos, I just started watching them and imminently subscribed.
A clean and organized space puts me in a good mood to get things done.
so pretty!
This is so aesthetic! Every video if urs is pastel perfect! I love pastel colours and ur videos are very aesthetic ❤️❤️
Like, okay? Then don't use it
i’m in middle school and i love using my ipad at school! it helps a lot in math and spanish because the large packets are hard to carry around and it saves paper! i also use it to just take notes
wow that's so awesome that your school lets you do that!! Mine would never XD
I was avoiding Notion too. Now it’s helped me tremendously!
Every time I see your notification of your video my happy time begins, I am so exited to watch till the end.
Yay! Thank you!!!
It's really great that Estella picks such good topics
Hi!!I lpve youyr videos they are amazing keep up with the great work
tbh aesthetic notes have helped me get better grades because the prettier it looks the more I retain and go back and revise, and my teacher approves of my notetaking. my handwriting has also improved a lot when I started using this method.
though, I have friends who take way better notes than me yet still don't get grades as good as mine, so I guess good notetaking isn't the only factor to good notes.
Thanks for sharing!!
your editing skills are amazing ✨✨
