Guages are a personal preference. I only ever ran a boost gauge. I forgot to mention the fuel pressure reg upgrade, yep you'll for sure need a rising rate fuel reg! A 12" thermo fan did the job for me, never once over heated. Even at track days!
One day I want you to turbo a Lancer EX/GLS with the 4b11 engine in it 😂🤔 I've seen people in other countries literally build fake evo 10s from that's ex Lancers 😅 the 4b11 seems to hold allot of power if you do it right. I've also got a stock Lancer GLS 2l and I wanna turbo it in the future
what about a fuel reg & boost controller? also just FYI for anyone in sydney looking to get their lancer tuned, LLT racing is pretty much the go to for the entire community when it comes to these cars.

Hy Mike! I have a 1995 Galant with a 4g93 engine and i want to put a snail on it ,😁but it still has distributor ignition and I don't think the ECU is tunedable because of that. What do you think? Yeah the td04 off the Subaru’s would be a sweet size! Unfortunately getting these things tuned isn’t easy…I only have a tuner here in Melbourne unfortunately.
Question do you think it will still be fine with the lancer automatic transmission? I do have a manual on hand to swap out. But for the time being can the auto trans handle the turbo?
@@itsmikelake Sorry I have a 2003 US spec 4G94 and it does have a MAP sensor. It's located on top of the inlet manifold in the center part no. MD305600 I think from memory.
I have a 4g93 turbo mitsubishi lancer 2000. But it's loosing power when the rpm go up to 3000rpm and the car started to shake up don't kno what to do. But it start fine trackling is great but as I press down the gas pedal it loose power.

Ideally wouldn’t this work for the 4g69 platform as well? They’re practically the same platform with slight variations.

Do I need oil pressure, AFR or boost gauges? Will the stock fuel pressure regulator do the job? What thermo fan should I buy to bolt on?

The fuel pump is under the back seat... the nuts are a pain to get to tho 😂 but a tiny socket wrench does the trick 👌

My 4g94 has 335k kms should I replace the engine to run boost or will it hold still. Motor is super clean , I service it every 5k
Do a comp test. If comp is good, you’re sweet to boost!

All the parts still apply to an 03 right? I know the 04-06 is a different front end bumper/fender combo.

Most of the stuff here will apply to your engine, the tuning will be the big thing you'll need to figure out.

What did you do with the MAP sensor? N/A MAP sensors don't like boost.
The 4g93 doesn’t have a map sensor. They’re an airflow metered engine

Not on stock internals unfortunately. 250hp is around the max before you need to start upgrading internals 😁

Hey! The auto gearbox will handle that power now problem at all. Generally, auto gearboxes can handle more power than the manual boxes!
