- With the latest update in GT7 we got one of the craziest cars on this planet the Aston Martin Valkyrie. It really took me some time to get used to it and get a clean lap around the famous Nurburgring Nordschleife.
This thing is extremely fast but its brakes could be better.
I did this run with the standard car and only changed the tires to soft racing tires. With all upgrades you can get over 1400 hp out of it.

@@backroad_e9x In GT7 it counts as a road car and can be used as such, it's(SRT) significantly faster than any other road car including the Valkyrie in GT7, I couldn't care less about real world car as 99.99 percent of the world population is not able to purchase this car(Valkyrie)

Wow you know how to drive the Nordschleife. Fabulous lap 👏👏👏. I managed to get 389 kmh on the long straights at the Le Mans 24 hour circuit but that’s just put your foot down and go 😅.I think it’s a great addition to the game even if 4 million is a bit of a steep price!
True. Idk if u own the car but even completely unmodified it handles like dream. Especially for a road legal car. On the nurburgring its very very good

@@juanitoblogs6574I think he meant for regular road use because downforce usually means worse fuel economy…. and of course more space for downforce means less space for the driver, making it very uncomfortable for regular road use.

Great lap. Would love to see what you're able to achieve on standard sport soft tyres. I'm not the best racer but was able to manage 6:13. I think it's theoretically possible for a 6 minute flat lap on a perfect lap

@@danielstokker No. Sports tyres is the correct and most realistic configuration. It uses Pilot Sport Cup 2s in real life. Because it's a ROAD car. Slicks are not allowed on the public road

I managed on the SS tyres a 05.52.436 (completely stock, yes). And that wasn't a perfect lap. This car can go into the 05.40s for sure.

If I have some time the next days I could try sports tires but I guess the car will be almost impossible to driver. Even on RS I´ve got spinning tires in 3rd gear...
@@zocker1990 well I tried driving it myself a bit today and I have to admit yeah, this thing is insanely hard to control even on racing tires. It made me even more impressed at how fast your lap was though!

my sector pbs for now are 34.69 on sector 1 and 59.222 in sector 2, but in different laps. the 59.222 resulted in a 5:25.4 lap but i slipped away at hohe acht and flew away vompletely at pflanzgarten 2. also managed to be at the wehrseifen checkpoint at 2:01.3 but also not the lap i did a 5:20.629 in, combined sectors might be below 5:20

@@zocker1990 ja beides, aber setup hab ich nur ein bisschen auf stabilität gebaut, weil der arembergkurve, bergwerk und hohe acht immer hinten rumkommt wenn man nur runterschaltet…
bin jetzt bei sektor 1 bei 34,3 und sektor 2 58,4 also da geht noch ein bisschen

@@enzoferrari8980 Hi, den GTRP gibt es in dem Sinn nicht mehr. Das Forum wurde offline genommen und es gibt jetzt nur noch einen Discord Server mit den letzten verbliebenen Mitgliedern. Bin dort aber auch noch aktiv.
@@enzoferrari8980 Alles klar. Bin wie in der Beschreibung erwähnt nur mit Weichen Rennreifen gefahren. Alles andere Standard. Mit Tuning und passendem Setup geht die Runde noch nen ganzes Stück schneller allein 300 PS mehr Leistung machen schon ein paar Sekunden aus.

Valkyrie seems to have downforce set too high. It overwhelms the GT3 and GT500 and falls short of the LMP1. And since the kers work separately, the horsepower must be 1000 engine horsepower.
It’s got about 800kg downforce. Depends on where you read about it the number could be higher. IRL the car should perform similar to LMP2 laptimes

Doesn’t even come close to LMP2 cars irl. AM promised 1000kg dry, ended up with 1270kg, and also claimed close to 2000kg of downforce yet ended up with around the same numbers as the Senna (800kg as you said).
The car also has a quite slow single clutch transmission which GT didn’t replicate for some odd reason. It’s fast as f*ck in game, but inaccurate.
@@NName_ LMP2 is 1000kg with 500hp. The power to weight is superior in the Valkyrie as it has 1100hp and is only 270kg more. LMP2 also does not generate enough more downforce to make up for that difference dependent on the track and is not as technologically advanced as the Valkyrie which is capable of having different downforce figures if the car is going straight vs turning. The Valkyrie will do well over 200mph where LMP2 cannot go over 190.
So it should be LMP2 similar laptimes depending on what track just a different way of doing so.
@@nickdorlando A lot of your infos are wrong. I’m assuming you’re talking about the recent LMP2 cars like the Oreca 07 for example, which produces up to 603hp with the Gibson engine. The dry weight of an LMP2 also varies from 900 to 1000kg but it’s more often around the 950kg mark. So we’re talking about a 300kg difference. The Valkyrie produces 1139bhp or 1155ps, 155ps of them being available only when pressing the ERS button. The LMP2 has full slicks which are like, dimensions ahead of the Cup 2 R (despite it being the current stickiest road tyre available). Aston Martin claims it will run similar times to an LMP2 car on its road tyres, which is quite franky, hilarious . Power won’t really matter, because everywhere, the LMP2 exits corners way earlier than the AM that is meanwhile fighting for traction because of too much power + road tyres. This means the only time the Valkyrie catches up to the LMP2 car is on a long straight line where it can actually stretch its legs. Also, an LMP2 car’s acceleration isn’t that far off the Valkyrie at low speeds. By the way the downforce figures you’ve given correspond to a 2010 era LMP2 car which can go up to 2000lb at 150mph, however newer LMP2 models have much higher downforce than that, they’re sort of close to LMP1 cars. I don’t see the Valkyrie winning on 99% of tracks.

5:29.247 - that's easily LMP1 territories. I wonder is it really that fast IRL or the game is just exaggerating its performance (cornering speed at least) to some extent?
I used soft racing tires which are like qualifying slicks in the real world.
So cornering speeds are much higher than with the real car.
With realistic tires I guess the time in GT7 would be close to 6 min.
Now imagine if it would have been the AMR Pro....
An unmodified road legal Valkirie with Cup2R tires will never be sub 6 min (in real life, not in a game).
Dont even know if it will beat the mercedes amg one at all🧐.

Hat Lawrance Stroll etwas auf‘s Sony Entertainment Konto überweisen, dass der Aston so schnell im Game ist? Der ist ja über ne Minute schneller als der echte AMG One am Ring, fast schon so schnell wie der Porsche 919 EVO, scheint mir also sehr realitätsfern…
Nichtsdestotrotz gute Runde!
Gibt ein paar Punkte die man in Gran Turismo beachten muss. Am wichtigsten sind die Reifen. Ich bin die Runde mit weichen Rennreifen gefahren. Die sind eher mit Formel 1 Rennslicks zu vergleichen vom Grip her. Auf Reifen die eher denen vom echten Aston Martin ähneln wird die Runde auch deutlich langsamer.
Zudem hab ich für die Runde ca. 2 Stunden gebraucht konnte also immer wieder resetten und musste das Auto nicht in einem Stück heim bringen 😅

@@zocker1990 probably some hardcore sport tire like a michelin pilot sport cup 2 R or something bit not full slicks, so this lap is pretty accurate

It's simple: they added too much downforce and it's a issue that all high-downforce cars have, like Super Formula, modern GT500 and Gr.1 cars, plus every tuned car. Idk why the downforce is so strong in this game. It's an issue that wasn't present in old GT games.
Well I doubt that is realistic at all, knowing that the Porsche 919 did it only 10 seconds faster 🤨.

But what is your time in a untuned car with Sports soft tyres? These tuned times on racing tyres with noob assists don't impress me.
The car isn’t tuned, just standard settings with soft racing tires. Only driving assist was ABS. 👌
@zocker1990 so where is the telemetry for this lap? RS tyres isn't a challenge at all. Factory sports tyres requires true driving skill.
@@zocker1990Mate you need to show the sim setup you have hopefully with a wheel because I know a few hackers can cheat the PC systems. Also prove you have all driver assist’s turned completely off then I’ll be impressed.
Finally the tyres used.
@@dilly9537I am on my PS5/VR2/Fanatec DD pro McLaren GT3 wheel/ cockpit view with all assists turned off the car the way it comes and it’s a nightmare to drive at the ring.
The next thing I want to try is the racing softs on and see what that’s like. Should have a lot more grip.
