Long Stay Parking

The Long Stay car park is just a short walk from the terminal building. Our car parks have CCTV, security fencing and 24-hour manning. Disabled parking is available and located in zone A.
Long Stay features include number plate recognition cameras for added security and convenience.

One problem with the Long Stay Car Park. Too many wanting too many places too close to the terminal building. I drove for the first and only time so far, though I am going again in 2 weeks time, to the Long Stay Car Park and such was the volume I had to park in a part of the car park not even covered by the video. Right at the very top as far as you can possibly go where the row of trees are that is is where I had to park. I could not get a space closer to the terminal building. I would like the airport to come up with a way of making it possible for drivers to know of what spaces are available and where when they arrive. Possibly an app of some kind.

i parked up in the long stay cp back in 2009 and 2010 [would have been 10 days each] but i cannot remember being charged for it, did it used to be free?
