I love bike now than cars or motorcycle because for as long as you can pedal it will take you where ever you want even if you don't have money it does not need gasoline that's what good about bike have a hapy ride and take care always beautiful couple. Nice bike touring journey video
Both Tobi and Louisa are amazingly physically strong; wonderful smiles; amazingly positive attitudes; great videography; fantastically authentic adventures
Wonderful images which remind me when I was there 30 years ago (by car). Not a single for stone has moved ahah! Congratulations for the filming and editing and all the pleasure that you show us which obviously rewards the great effort.
I am an old man and retired professor who happens to love Chile. But the farthest north I have been is La Serena on my way to the Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory. I was looking for cycling videos to watch while riding my stationary bike here in the Big Bend of Texas and I stumbled onto your Atacama video. Not only was it breath-taking and enjoyable to watch while I pedaled, but it forced me to add northern Chile to my bucket list. Kudos. And thank you !!!!
How could someone think of two human creatures traveling in such a long distance trip by only pedalling their bikes? That' s an incredible labor. You are going to be two legends for such an incredibly difficult achievement.
Fantastic video! Your channel's become one of my favourite bicycle channels (along with Ed Pratt and Wheels to Wander). I always look forward to a new video. Your film making has also very much improved, from technical aspects and the scenery!
By coincidence I watch your great inspired cycling trips to Latin America , Latin America has been my dream place to visit one day . Cheers from Malaysia
Still watching ! We are of a certain age - 71 and 67. My wife says you two are so nice to watch! Louisa you are so laid back - you seem a lovely couple!!
It is so nice to see someone else travelling with their instrument. In the last 20 years I always toured with my Sitar on a Bob trailer. My wife and I are starting a 3 year tour in April and at the moment I am building a new instrument to take travelling. It is definitely not smaller than my Sitar unfortunately, but should allow me to stay happy musically on the road. We plan to ride from Germany to Australia then fly to South America and ride to Calgary Canada where I am from. Thanks for the great content and inspiration!
So great to see you guys again! Fabulous video segments with the GoPro and drone! As well the music was perfect. Have fun in Buenos Aires. Will you continue on with your tour after you finish South America? Hopefully you will :)
This was a beautiful part of Chile, it must have been great to ride all the way from the top of mountains, down to sea level again ! I had to laugh a little when you said at the end the "South America almost done... " Well, please check how many KM's to Ushuaia you still have to ride, because that is not exactly close, you still have a long ride before you. I am sure you will get there, and Patagonia will be interesting, and then crossing the pampa's to Ushuaia. I hope you have a tailwind all the time, keeping my fingers crossed for you. Cheers !
Haha, that's true, it's still a lot of kms to Ushuaia. For us it's probably more that it feels like South America is almost over, especially considering it's "only" a few months left after almost a whole year here. 😅
As Einstein might hav said, time and space is not the same depending on your speed or the way you travel. Three months left may feel short after ten or so riding from North... 😉
Just discovered your channel. Thoroughly enjoying what are excellent videos. Tobi, during the USA episodes I noticed you were wearing a neck/face warmer from Compass Expeditions. I'm based in Australia and a few years ago I did a motorcycle tour with them. Keep up the wonderful videos!
Glad you are enjoying our videos! 😊 You have a good eye 😅 Tobi and his dad rented some motorbikes from them a few years ago and drove the Great Ocean Road together.
It unfortunately broke (for good) in the south of Bolivia. The aluminum just isn't made for the bad roads 😅 So we decided to not rebuild it, also not out of steel, but just repack a bit and place the guitar on the back of Tobi's bike.
Great video as always! What website/source do you use for your music in the videos? I'm using epidemic sound but I haven't found any tracks like the ones in this video XD
Great video again. It is such a pleasure to follow you guys and see your adventures. Quick question though, that guitar you've been carrying around all this time, you gonna play it for us at some point...? ;-)
Unfortunately it broke (for good) on the bad Bolivian roads. We decided not to rebuild it out of steel but instead get rid of a few things and place the guitar on the back of Tobi's bike. Better suited for off-road! 😅

Love your content. Relaxing watch as usual. I purchased a solar panel and power bank for my surly long haul trucker.
Awesome! 😊
Really like the format! Keep peddling.
Thanks! 😊

8:00 if you aim juuust right, you can hit Hawaii 😁 🌺
True! 😅😅
Wow, amazing footage! What happened to Tobi's guitar rack?
It unfortunately broke (for good) in the south of Bolivia. The aluminum just isn't made for the bad roads 😅
So we decided to not rebuild it, also not out of steel, but just repack a bit and place the guitar on the back of Tobi's bike.
Beautiful ..is it safe? I’ll do it soon on my bike thx
Time for a sailboat
Great video as always! What website/source do you use for your music in the videos? I'm using epidemic sound but I haven't found any tracks like the ones in this video XD
Thanks! 😊 We also use Epidemic Sound 😅
Thanks, good video. I would be interested in where you leave your bicycles and gear when you leave for Argentina or other similar trips?
In this case we left our bikes with an old friend of Tobi's stepdad. But on other occasions we've contacted hosts and asked them if it's possible.
Great video again. It is such a pleasure to follow you guys and see your adventures. Quick question though, that guitar you've been carrying around all this time, you gonna play it for us at some point...? ;-)
Hey, sorry for the late reply! Yea, we'll have some more music coming soon 😊
Great job guys with the vid! Fantastic music choices. Where do you get it from?
Thanks! 😊 We use the "Epidemic Sound" library.
you both seem so happy! great to see that. What's next after reaching "the end of the world"?
After they will finish to explore the world, they will start to explore their inner world.....🙂
ok, just saw a previous video telling about the plans after! awesome!
Is the moon? ❤
What happened to your guitar rack?
Achs- und Speichenbruch :)
Unfortunately it broke (for good) on the bad Bolivian roads. We decided not to rebuild it out of steel but instead get rid of a few things and place the guitar on the back of Tobi's bike. Better suited for off-road! 😅
👍👍🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳♥♥♥
Your Spanish is creeping through 🙂. We usually pronounce "Chile" as "chilly" (as in the UK weather).
I could also be their German - we pronounce Chile as they do in the video 🙂
Maybe both! 😅😅
