If we could dispense with all the “so, ya know, like” and worst of all “right” there might be time on the airwaves to inform us with original ideas and meaningful thoughts. So, ya know, like, am I right? Right!
@@johnnydeano2288 Thank you for your comment. I have noticed it has become more prevalent. I watch a lot of book tv. It is maddening when the speaker says “um” and “uh” multiple times during a speaking engagement. I am not sure why the individual is unaware.
Savannah was trying to protect Matt herself!!
Disappointed. I thought you were better. You and Matt were very closed. Sounds like a book deal motive
Katie Couric, where is your journalistic integrity? You were lead host or anchor, when Matt Laurer became co-host! Ann Curry, most likely bound by a non-discloser-agreement as well and forced to leave but made it so clear, so visible and still didn’t break her NDA-clause! Someone I am all in awe of! There is a difference between a newsreader and a journalist.
LIAR!!! There is no way she didn't know the other side of Matt. His wife had been trying to divorce him for years because of this "other side!!!" And Katie was there most of that time.
Omg...she knew what he was like, but she like everyone else didnt want to say anything when they were friends.
I don’t for a second believe none of them knew that something was going on. They may have not known the full extent but they knew something.
Katie wrote in the book that she heard rumors about relationships inside the newsroom.
Very honest!
Couric is like Hillary when interviewed at NBC, she wrote her own questions.....
Katie Couric is an amazing News Anchor. She set the standard. I love her mean-ness...which is really NOT mean-ness--its just confidence and no apology approach. Men do it. What the heck!
My most favourite morning show, NBC’s the today show. I believe not all former hosts have yet felt or tried to make good! Savannah Guthrie tried but was most likely ordered to stop! Her earpiece that made her shut up. A voice from the control room! Katie Couric to this day escaped any responsibility or consequence!
She knew.
reckless... she meant violence, oppressive, abusive
I know ! Lets give more power to people because they have a mega-famous Job ! Just like you know we'll continue to do.
Hey Katie, you should have called Matt out for humiliating Britney in 2006 and Ann Curry in 2012.
Why did Katie end up with the breaking news about a plane impacting the WTC? Matt was notified while doing an interview and then asked " do we have it ...No we don't ... but we will return etc. Then there were several minutes of advertising and Katie was at the helm with Matt sitting beside her. First witness, Jennifer Oberstein, saw an explosion, but Katie interrupted and asked her what kind of plane it was. Isn't that a leading question?
There is a video of Matt being verbally inappropriate with katie. What's she on about? There are receipts.
I thought they weren't going to interview her. And why is her chair so small.
CBS decided not to interview her
She's over 100 Courics!
Interesting to see her labeling them as disgusting and that she did her own reporting: I mean now? Just because she is selling
a book? What about before. She says, “a side I didn’t know.” It was a side she suspected but decided to look the other way because it was convenient, at the time and benefited her and her own career-maybe not her integrity, but yes to her career and pockets. She didn’t choose to do her own reporting, back then, about women suffering at her co host’s hands. She was making money along his side. But now she dares to call it disgusting. Sorry but I’m going to call it like Maya Angelou would say: when people show you who they are, believe them.” Bye Katie
How did she not know what Matt was doing??
she knew - she is full of crap
What a liar. She not only knew, she threw Ann under the bus, and makes sure to repeatedly distance herself from Matt.
She knew
She was part of the boys club. And stepped on any on-air female talent when she felt threatened. What a horrible human being. She even treated her nanny like garbage. Nobody is buying her BS! Go away, please. You’re time’s up!
yup - GO AWAY KATIE
That is so sad to hear about Katie couric in Matt lauer I used to watch it all the time goes to show you never really know a person or what goes on behind closed doors
Is it just me, or do these two women have the same face?
She will say anything stay relevant her talk show flopped her evening news spot flopped also 🤔
This is The Morning show IRL

Hmm. When we now know Katie Couric actively decimated the careers of younger women, her pretense saying she didn’t know Matt Lauer after so many years is disgusting. She knew.
